Vectis Prime Bladed Rounds Build

This Build

  • Reliant heavily on headshots and conditionals
  • Damage scales up but requires a few kills first
  • Able to OHKO level 160 Corrupted Heavy Gunners after 1-5 kills on headshot
  • No Bleed procs, reliant on instant damage
  • The first kill may take a few shots

Conditionals (as best I understand them lol)

  • Proc Corrosive Status (66% chance)
  • Deal Critical (4.4x damage multiplier at 90% chance)
  • Critical Headshot (2x damage multiplier)
  • Multishot (80% chance for an additional shot)
  • Max Zoom (+60% headshot multiplier = 3.2x damage multiplier on headshot)
  • Proc Bladed Rounds (+120% critical damage multiplier = 6.8x) (1 kill requirement)
  • Proc Galvanized Chamber (+150% chance for an additional shot = 230% chance for additional shots) (5 kill requirement)
  • Proc [Galvanized Scope] (+320% critical chance = 6.8x damage multiplier at 186% chance) (86% chance for double critical damage multiplier = 13.6x) (5 kill requirement)
  • Proc Primary Deadhead (+360% raw damage) (3 kill requirement)
  • Sniper Shot Combo at 5 kills (2x 2.5x multiplier) (includes multishot)

Why use Primary Deadhead over Primary Merciless?

  • Deadhead has a duration of 24 seconds, which is much more forgiving to find new targets to keep your conditionals up
  • Build requires headshots, which synergizes well with Deadhead's requirements
  • Only requires 3 kills to gain maximum effect, which works on precision weapons like this one, as opposed to Merciless needing 12

Other Builds

Bane Mods

  • Separate +55% damage multiplier
  • Swap out Serration
  • Requires swapping Bane Mod to correct faction (not good for missions with multiple factions, this is why I don't use them despite the extra damage, personal preference)

  • Total damage - 18,116
  • Average Hit - 213,554
  • Burst DPS - 427,108
  • Sustained DPS - 238,973

Viral + Hunter Munitions

  • More reliant on Bleed procs rather than direct headshot kills, which means Galvanized Scope will not proc
  • Replace High Voltage for Rime Rounds and Bladed Rounds for Hunter Munitions
  • Replace [Galvanized Scope] for [Galvanized Aptitude] for increased status chance and damage (or Argon Scope for increased critical chance(which only procs on headshot, not headshot kills))
  • For max damage out of this replace Serration for Bane Mods
  • Usually requires multiple headshots, and waiting for the Bleed proc to take effect
  • Can swap [Rime Rounds] and [Malignant Force] for Primed Cryo Rounds and Infected Clip for increased raw damage at the cost of only 54% status chance as opposed to 90%
  • Viral and Bleed procs ignore enemy armor, provide damage over time and a damage multiplier

  • Average Hit - 124,720
  • Burst DPS - 270,668
  • Sustained DPS - 181,137
