'Boreal's Contempt' and 'Naramon'

Change the faction mod as needed or use '[Gladiator Might]'.
The usual melee setup just with '[Boreal's Contempt]'. Also works for '[Orthos Prime]' and '[Lesion]'.

If you haven't finished New [War], you can just skip the '[Boreal's Contempt]' parts and just use '[Gladiator Might]' instead.

Note that '[Boreal's Contempt]' currently has a damage from status effects multiplier at 30% instead of the listed 60%. It is still significant though and that damage is multiplicative with other damage mods and is applied twice to slash procs. You can farm '[Boreal's Contempt]' from Narmer Bounties. If you don't have it, you can use '[Gladiator Might]' instead.

Smite mods add 55% damage to the associated faction as a separate damage type so the '[Condition Overload]' damage is multiplied. It also double dips into DoT bleeds from slash.
However, it isn't necessary for most content. It is mainly useful for long duration runs with higher level enemies. It can be replaced with '[Gladiator Might]' for more CC and CD. If you don't have a primed smite mod, you can just use the regular smite mods. Something to keep in mind is if you only participate in long duration runs in 1 map, such as void survival, you can just max out that associated smite mod rather than all of them. Just switch out the smite mod with '[Gladiator Might]' if you are not in a long duration run.

If you don't want to use both '[Boreal's Contempt]' and smite mods, you can use '[Gladiator Vice]' and '[Gladiator Might]' for attack speed, CD, and CC from the set.

I usually use '[Wukong]' with '[Kuva Nukor]' as a primer (radiation, heat, magnetic, viral, microwave), 'Arcane Avenger', and subsumed '[War] Cry' for attack speed or 'Gloom' for slows and healing. I also use the 'Naramon' focus for 'Power Spike' so that the melee counter decays instead of completely depleting. You can also use 'Arcane [Fury]' or 'Arcane Strike' or anything you already have. I also use 'Panzer Vulphaphyla' for spreading viral and self revives, but you can choose to use a companion that will provide buffs.

If you don't want to use Naramon, you can use '[Gladiator Rush]' or '[Drifting Contact]' instead of '[Boreal's Contempt]' or a smite mod. If you are using '[Gladiator Vice]' and '[Gladiator Might]', replace [Gladiator Vice].

You can also choose to use '[Primed Fury]' instead of 'Beserker's [Fury]' if that is your preference.

If you have a good Riven, make your decision on what mod to replace based on your riven stats or mods that you have. The primed smite mod can be replaced as it mainly shines on longer duration runs. If you are going for a long duration run, consider replacing other mods instead.

Use the ctrl+right click melee attack for forced slash procs when facing groups of enemies. Use a forward neutral melee attack otherwise.

Personal thoughts: '[Guandao Prime]' was already a really good melee so this is a nice cherry on top. I still consider '[Glaive Prime]' to be the best melee due to the giant AOE damage. I also consider '[Kronen Prime]' to be better and it also has the benefit of just using the neutral melee attack. I like how this feels more than '[Nikana Prime]' though so that's something. Or you could just run '[Primed Sure Footed]' with a [Kuva Zarr] . . .

Summary:

  • Use '[Kuva Nukor]' or another primer to apply viral and other elements.
  • Use 'Naramon' or replace smite or '[Boreal's Contempt]' with '[Gladiator Rush]' or 'Drifting Contact'
  • Use the ctrl + right click melee attack for forced slash procs.
  • Optional Replacements:
    - Replace smite or 'Boreal's Contempt' with Gladiator Might and Gladiator Vice.
    - Use the regular smite mods if you don't have the primed versions.
    - Replace 'Beserker's Fury' with 'Primed Fury' if that's your preference.
  • Optional Warframe Considerations:
    - Use 'Arcane Avenger' for more CC or 'Arcane Fury' for more damage or 'Arcane Strike' for more attack speed.
    - Consider focusing on warframe abilities that affect attack speed ([Volt], [Valkyr], [Gauss], [Wisp], etc.) or damage ([Rhino], [Saryn], etc.) or have stealth multiplier capabilities ([Loki], [Ash], [Ivara], etc.) or have grouping capabilities (Wisp, Khora, etc.) or survivability (Sevagoth, Octavia, Nezha, Wukong, etc.).
    - Subsume a useful ability such as 'Warcry' or 'Gloom'
    - Consider using a companion that will provide buffs or utility.
