[Tenet Detron] is the best secondary for the profit taker fight due to its high damage per shot, and reliable critical hits, at least when compared to the previous meta secondary, the kuva nukor. the [Detron]'s incredible multishot and ability to bring 4 distinct elements to the table doesn't hurt either. Make sure to stay decently close to profit taker as the [Detron]'s falloff can be quite extreme.

This build in its current state is geared towards maximizing the [Detron]'s minimum performance, that means it assumes you have no stacks of secondary dexterity and arcane avenger is not active. If you wish to rely on dexterity, you can replace hornet strike with lethal torrent, and some people have reported better results by replacing primed pistol gambit with lethal torrent

The secondary fire forces you to reload and in many cases is completely unnecessary for clearing an element. That being said, if you forget to reactivate your damage buffs secondary fire will most likely be enough to clear any element.
