The only Gauss build you need

Why use this build

I main [Gauss] since he was released, so trust me on this build.
Most of the "god" builds I see are just plain trash, not because they are weak, but because they are completely pointless most of the time. Like, come on, [Adaptation] on [Gauss]? Why would you? [Natural Talent]? Pointless unless you are not spamming, which you will not do with this build. [Constitution]? The recovery part is totally useless with your Kinetic Plating active, and the duration it gives is just not worth the drain, and Umbral mods are just plain terrible if used by themselves, and VERY expensive when used together. This build is using nothing but the mods you actually need, with a [Rush] in the exilus slot. (Because come on, you're [Gauss]. You have to.)

How it works

254% Duration:
will help your Kinetic Plating and Redline to stay up for longer, and gives you almost 3x fire rate, 2x melee attack speed and 3,5x reload speed. This frees up slots for pure damage in your weapons' modding. It also makes your Thermal Sunder deal a lot more damage. More on this later.

75% Efficiency:
doesnt need to scare you at all. Your Kinetic Plating and the [Primed Flow] will make up for it, and you won't use your abilities so often anyways. This is a [Sacrifice] for your other abilities to be stupid strong. You will get used to it.

199% Range, and 139% Strength:
work together on making your Thermal Sunder a powerhouse. You see, the range will allow you to nuke entire high-level rooms with just one "cold" and one "hot" cast of it. The reason this is so stupidly strong, is because if your battery is at 100%, which it will be most of the time, your initial cold cast will deal quite some damage. Now for the fun part. If you immediately cast a hot one the enemies have their armor 100% STRIPPED and that cold damage is dealt again, BUT its multiplied by the remaining duration of the status on enemies. After that, the hot cast's damage is added to the sum and after this, the remaining burning proc deals heavy damage on the unarmored enemies, making your total damage hilariously high, in a massive radius. You literally clapped them. Just look at the casting animation.

Conclusion

[Gauss] is by himself a very fun and amazing frame. He is tanky and very mobile, but with this build he becomes hilariously strong aswell. The corrupted mods used are a sort of puzzle, with [Narrow Minded] giving you [Gauss]' core stat, duration for some range, [Overextended] making up for that loss, in price for some strength, and [Blind Rage] making up for that strength loss, migitated by [Streamline]. [Stretch], [Primed Flow], [Primed Continuity] and [Augur Reach] will give you even more helpful stats.
