Main focus is mobile defense / interception.
Works well against corpus but struggles a lot against armor.
Clearing Enemies
Enemies tend to get stuck in groups at the border of your aegis storm, thus using an aoe amp (like the propa scaffold) and/or magus lockdown is recommended.
Balefire is still decent at clearing crowds, but it struggles against eximus units / nullifier / arbitration drones.
Try to mod it for as much base dmg as possible, since the negative power strength affects balefire.
Using a rapid fire amp like the cantic prism can help getting rid of nullifiers.
Playstyle / Regenerating Shields
You wanna spend most of the time in your operator while [Hildryn] uses aegis storm. Vazarin gives [Hildryn] overshields, while the [Raksa Kubrow] mod [Protect] gives you shields once you dont have overshields.
Vazarin has a good synergy with defending consoles, since it can make them invulnerable and [Regen] their health.
Remember that you can use this to [Protect] your pet as well.
Using haven is optional.
The shield bonus is minimal, but it still gives your teammates the [Hildryn] passive.
It is strictly recommended to return to your frame once you take just a small amount of damage, since your operator death will result in [Hildryn] having 0 shields, unless you use magus glitch.
Magus glitch lets you keep all your shield and removes the hp penalty even if your operator dies.
Being Tanky
Being in your operator mode gives [Hildryn] 90% damage reduction since she is channeling aegis storm.
We get additional 40% from [Aviator].
Once [Adaptation] kicks in [Hildryn] is pretty much invulnerable.
Being hit actually helps you keeping your shield up since arcane aegis restores way more shield than you take damage.
In summary:
- aoe amp/magus lockdown for clearing crowds
- raksa kubrow with protect equipped / vazarin focus (guardian blast)
- magus glitch on your operator to prevent transference static
