This build is meant primarily to compliment my Mag build which you can find a link to below.
Mag: https://overframe.gg/build/245783/
Why These Mods:
This is a setup created with the main intent to use it with [Mag]'s Magnetize, allowing the bubble to absorb the obscene amount of raw damage this weapon puts out. The bubble will naturally absorb 25% of all raw damage dealt by this weapon, excluding the bonus damage dealt from critical hits. This damage will then be dealt every second to anything inside of the bubble, split up into two separate damage ticks. Anything without armour should be vaporized immediately upon touching the bubble!
The reason for Magnetic damage is that the [Mag] setup this is intended for has 100% armour strip, meaning corrosive would be very weak, and Magnetic procs are quite handy against shields and Overguard.
How to Use:
Once you place down a Magnetize bubble, you need simply dump the entire magazine, or maybe even two, into the bubble. Then you get to sit back and watch it do work!
Magnetize Amp Burst: 138,000 Damage
Magnetize Amp Sustained: 59,000 Damage per Second
Riven Mods:
If you have a Riven Mod for this setup you can significantly boost your Magnetize DPS output. Getting a Riven Mod with stats that make it worth using can sometimes be quite hard, but with this weapons disposition it's a pretty low bar. I'll break down the desired stats to look for below.
Detrimental Stats: (Avoid)
Negative: Damage, Multishot, Impact
Positive Stats:
- Damage
- Multishot
- Elemental Damage
- Firerate (Weak)
- Reload (Weak)
- Magazine (Weak)
Negative Stats:
- Recoil
- Zoom
- Critical Chance
Anything that doesn't match the stats above is regarded as a "dead-stat" and does not matter at all for evaluating the usefulness of the Riven Mod.
Example Riven:
- +267% Damage (Perfect!)
- +55% Damage to Corpus (Useless...)
- +61% Reload Speed (Helpful)
- -82% Zoom (Perfect!)
Now to determine where to slot it, we look at the stats granted by all the equipped mods, and their corresponding values. The build has [Hornet Strike] for +220% Damage, and the Riven has that same stat at the same value or higher, so we can replace [Hornet Strike]. The other option is [Primed Quickdraw], the Riven gives less Reload than it so we would lose a slight bit of Reload Speed but make up for it significantly by getting a second source of +Damage. You could use the Riven Mod to replace either [Hornet Strike] or [Primed Quickdraw], but replacing [Primed Quickdraw] would be the ideal choice as it gives more DPS.
