You can't proc eidolons with status effects, however we still use elemental mods and this confuses some people. If you want to know why you should do some research on how damage, elemental resistances & armor works in warframe. Long story short we don't care about status chance (because we already have a 0% chance to proc status on an eidolon), however we still care about the elements we use (namely radiation and cold)

If you don't have a riven, Primed Cryo Rounds or Cryo Rounds will work

If you do have a riven, don't use it if your dps is lower compared to Primed Cryo Rounds, and you don't need a god roll on your riven, just roll it till you get something that is better than using a regular mod & you are happy with.

Riven:
Positives

• Multishot, Critical Chance

  These are priority one, imo a rubico riven cannot be great if it has neither

• Critical Damage, Damage

  Prio two, very nice stats to have

• Electricity, Cold, Heat, IPS

  These stats are acceptable if paired with any prio 1 or 2 stats, Cold and Electricity are preferable as they can form corrosive / viral for non-eidolon content. IPS adds to base damage

Negatives

• Zoom, Status duration, Status chance, Faction damage

  Zoom is personal preferance (I like -Zoom), you can't proc Eidolons with status effects so status chance/duration are harmless, Faction damage is also harmless

If you want even more dps you can replace [Vital Sense] with [Argon Scope], however you must use this with [Volt] shields for double crit damage, i dont reccomend this because if you dont get a headshot and place a [Volt] shield your damage is just worse
