This is meant for Survival MOT using its alt fire to group enemies up.

NOTE: Alt fire is not affected by Crit chance, Crit damage, Multishot, or Status chance so you will not need mods with those stats. Pure Elemental/Damage/Status Duration/Fire Rate are useful on the altfire.

Elementals: The altfire comes with innate electricity. You can go with Viral if you'd like, but I prefer that on my primer or melee. Electricity is nice because of the damage over time and stun effect. Go corrosive if you do not have a means of armor stripping. If you go with an element besides Electricity make sure to remove damage mods to fit them in.

Status Duration: Only Continued Misery gives Status Duration so I highly recommend looking for a [Ferrox] riven with Status Duration on it. Unfortunately, the stun effect from Electricity is NOT affected by +Status Duration.

Fire Rate: This affects charge timer to throw and the ticks in alt-fire which means more consistent status procs.

Ideal Riven: +Fire Rate, +Status Duration, Harmless Negative.

+Damage is also good, but [Ferrox] isn't meant to do the damage on your overall build (Warframe + Weapon builds) so don't worry about its overall damage. I have +Damage mods because there isn't enough +Status Duration, +Fire Rate mods to use.

DO NOT USE [Shred] OR [Primed Shred]. The punch through can make the [Ferrox] go through the map making it useless and you having to wait 30 seconds for it come back to you.
