Warframe is Pumping Up the Platinum with Pack Refresh, BOGO Event, and Regional Price Shift

Warframe is set to refresh its Platinum Pack offerings across all platforms beginning February 17, 2026, introducing higher Platinum values, removing outdated Mod inclusions, adjusting regional pricing, and launching a limited-time Buy One Get One Free event.

According to Digital Extremes in a notice on Discord, with details on their official forums, the Platinum Pack refresh is built around three distinct changes. First, Mods are being removed entirely from Platinum Packs. Mods were originally included to help newer Tenno get started, but now after more than 13 years of updates, balance passes, and systemic changes, the provided Mods no longer have any meaningful long-term value. Instead of bundling items that many players already own or outgrow quickly, Digital Extremes is shifting that value directly into Platinum itself, pumping up how much platinum you obtain with each purchase.

What does that mean for Tenno? It means Platinum Packs will now contain slightly more Platinum than before, without changing the in-game Platinum costs of items, cosmetics, or convenience purchases. Smaller packs remain largely unchanged, while higher-tier packs seeing more substantial increases.

The Platinum Pack changes break down as follows:

  • 75 Platinum

    • Before: 75 Platinum

    • After: 75 Platinum (no change)

  • 170 Platinum

    • Before: 170 Platinum

    • After: 175 Platinum (+5)

  • 370 Platinum

    • Before: 370 Platinum

    • After: 380 Platinum (+10)

  • 1,000 Platinum

    • Before: 1,000 Platinum

    • After: 1,025 Platinum (+25)

  • 2,100 Platinum

    • Before: 2,100 Platinum

    • After: 2,200 Platinum (+100)

  • 3,210 Platinum

    • Before: 3,210 Platinum

    • After: 3,450 Platinum (+240)

  • 4,300 Platinum

    • Before: 4,300 Platinum

    • After: 4,600 Platinum (+300)

Availability for the largest packs varies by platform and region, as does pricing - which is why pricing hasn't been provided in the platinum listing.

What About Platform and Region Changes?

PlayStation users will see some notable differences. To comply with regional pricing limits, the 4,600 Platinum Pack will not be available on PlayStation in any region. Additionally, the 2,200 Platinum Pack will be the largest option available in Asia, while other regions will have access to the 3,450 Platinum Pack.

Select regions will see pricing adjustments tied to ongoing global currency fluctuations. These include a 4 percent increase for the Philippine Peso, 5 percent for the Indonesian Rupiah, 8 percent for the Turkish Lira, and a larger 64 percent increase for the Argentine Peso on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Digital Extremes acknowledged that these changes may be frustrating, but stated they are necessary to support the game’s long-term health and sustainability. Unfortunately, that means some regions and platforms should expect to pay a little more for their platinum.

Finally, to mark the rollout of the refreshed packs, Digital Extremes is running a Buy One Get One Free event for coupon-eligible regions from February 17 through February 24.

During this period, players who log in will receive a one-time coupon via their in-game Inbox, allowing them to purchase any Platinum Pack and receive double the Platinum from that purchase, which is a huge boon for players looking to make the most of their platinum purchase.

Keep your eyes peeled on your Inbox Tenno so you don't miss your chance for double platinum.
