Warframe’s Android Global Release Planned for February 18th - Here's the Release Time, Rewards and Minimum Req's

Warframe is officially making the jump to Android next month, opening up the Origin System to an even wider audience. Digital Extremes announced that Warframe will launch globally on Android on Wednesday, February 18, complete with full Cross Play and Cross Save support, allowing Tenno to seamlessly squad up and carry progress across platforms.

Canadian players will get a head start, with a regional soft launch beginning Wednesday, February 11. According to creative director Steve Sinclair, the team is using this early window to fine-tune stability, noting during Devstream #192 that current crash rates at launch should be hovering around 1 percent. The goal is to smooth out any remaining rough edges ahead of the worldwide rollout.

Earn Rewards

To celebrate the mobile debut, players who pre-register via the Google Play Store and log into Warframe on Android by March 4 will receive the Cumulus Collection.

This special reward package includes:

  • The Cirrus Armor Bundle

  • Cumulus Syandana

  • Stratus Pistol Skin

  • Spektaka Color Palette

  • A three-day Resource Booster.

Digital Extremes has also pointed players toward a dedicated FAQ on the official Warframe forums for additional pre-registration details.

On the technical side here's what you need to know to get Warframe to run on your device"

  • Warframe will support devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor,

  • Androids will need to run OS 12.0 or higher

  • Devices will need at least 4GB of RAM.

Sinclair also touched on lessons learned from iOS, calling the platform’s 3GB memory limit “quite painful” but ultimately helpful in preparing the team for Android optimization.

The developers also highlighted new movement accessibility options designed for mobile play, including features that let players “hold on” to traversal mechanics in certain game modes, making high-mobility sequences more approachable on touch controls.

A New Battlekit

In addition to the platform expansion, Digital Extremes confirmed that Wisp players have something to get excited for as her signature weapon will be available as part of a new Fulmin Battlekit, which will launch alongside Warframe’s Android debut. The Battlekit will arrive with the Canadian soft launch on February 11 and roll out globally on February 18, giving players a fresh piece of gear with a neat multicolor Opula ephemera to chase as the mobile version goes live.

Designed especially for newer Tenno, the Fulmin Battlekit is positioned as a fantastic bundle aimed at quickly bolstering a fledgling Arsenal.

The pack includes:

Digital Extremes also noted that the Fulmin Battlekit can only be purchased once per account. Fans new and old will definitely want to get their hands on these rewards and help celebrate the release of the Android version of Warframe.
