Console Fixes and Engine Changes Headed to Warframe

As Warframe heads into its next certification update, Digital Extremes has outlined a wave of fixes and technical priorities aimed at improving stability and preserving cross-platform play parity. In a Discord post pointing to their next Devstream, the team reiterated that engine-level “code” changes require certification from console partners, ensuring updates don’t compromise system stability and that all Tenno can continue playing together across platforms.

Alongside that technical process, the team shared a preview of several Known Issues expected to be addressed in the upcoming build. These include Vazarin’s Guardian Shell causing problems with grapple points in The Perita Rebellion, and Sevagoth’s Specter triggering spot-loading when casting Exalted Shadow.

On the console side, players can expect fixes for Pennant’s passive not working for clients, Voidshell textures failing to update on Operator and Drifter suits, missing emissive color options for Drifter attachments and Syandanas, broken On Call Crew summons, and the Nightwave “Survival” Act not completing properly.

Digital Extremes noted that while these items are being actively tested, not every Known Issue is yet in a state to be confirmed as fully resolved. The team says it will continue monitoring forums, Discord, and in-game reports to track feedback and prioritize additional fixes. For players invested in smooth cross-play and long-term stability, the next cert update looks set to deliver meaningful under-the-hood improvements.
