On January 20th, Digital Extremes teased that they would be "going dark" as the team puts the final polish on Vauban’s upcoming Heirloom skin. While an exact release date hasn’t been locked in just yet, the studio says players won’t have to wait long for clarity, with more details set to be revealed during Devstream 192 this Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET.
According to the developer, the "darkness" is being used to ensure Vauban’s premium cosmetic lands in a stable and high-quality state.
Devstream 192 will serve as the main stage for not only Vauban Heirloom news, but also a broader look at what’s coming next for the game. Digital Extremes has teased a closer peek at upcoming quality-of-life changes and the next major update during the broadcast.
As an added incentive, players who tune in will be able to earn Twitch Drops, including an Umbra Forma Blueprint and a Tauforged Archon Shard Grab Bag. With Vauban’s long-awaited Heirloom skin finally approaching the launchpad, Friday’s devstream should give Tenno a much clearer sense of when they can suit up in his deluxe new look.
