Warframe Devshort 91 mostly felt like the calm before a very loud storm, and the radar shows that Shadowgrapher storm is set to hit later this week. However, Rebecca Ford and Steve Sinclair spent much of this week's short doing a little studio show and tell, with an eye towards Devstream 193 currently slated for Friday, February 27, 2026, with the team positioning it as the full gameplay reveal for the next update planned for March.
They teased a stacked list of promises for that stream. Players can expect a release date for Shadowgrapher, a release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and a proper walkthrough of the Survival quality of life work that has been floating around in previews and community chatter.
In the near term, the biggest immediate news is that Warframe has officially launched on Android with Cross Save is enabled, and Digital Extremes is already triaging device specific issues. The team called out a flickering problem that can show up if you set resolution to 100 on certain phones, with Galaxy S20 mentioned as an example. The current workaround is to set dynamic resolution below 100 while a fix is in progress. They also noted a black screen issue that has already been resolved.
Devshort 91 also slipped in an early look at a Requiem Relic rework coming with the Shadowgrapher update. Requiem Relics 1 through 4 are being moved to Palladino so players can buy them with Riven Slivers, and a new Eternal Requiem Relic will consolidate the Requiem Mod pool into a single targetable farm. To smooth the transition, the team said players will receive eight of the new Eternal Requiem Relics on login, with the exact eligibility criteria to be clarified on Friday.
Finally, the short doubled as a lightning round for community asks. Reb acknowledged requests like adding map markers for Orokin Cells similar to Argon Crystals, while Steve flagged ongoing work on Android connection flow, some UI settings that keep resetting, and companion related animation issues. While nothing was completely off the table in terms of player requests, only the known issues were confirmed as being on the list of getting things fixed. With Devstream 193 intended to deliver what DE suspects will be a major update complete with an in-depth look at a brand new frame, their Devshort 100 milestone set for April is going to have to bring more than ice cream cake to compete.
