Devshort 90 Recap: Digital Extremes Sets the Stage for Warframe’s Next Big Content Drop

In the Devshort 90, Digital Extremes offered a rapid fire look at what is next for Warframe, touching on everything from platform plans to quality of life changes and a larger reveal scheduled for the next full Devstream later this month.

One of the major talking points was the status of Warframe on Android. The team confirmed that the global launch hit a late hurdle tied to API and login issues affecting certain devices discovered during regional testing. Rather than push forward with known access problems, the developers opted to hold the release while they work with external partners to resolve compatibility. Fortunately the fix was quick enough that it didn't knock the android version far off of its release plans, and it has now gone live.

On the live game side, the recently launched Platinum pack refresh is now fully in motion across all platforms. The updated packs remove older bundled Mods, increase Platinum amounts, and are accompanied by a limited time Buy One Get One promotion. According to the team, early monitoring shows the transition performing smoothly, but you'll want to jump in now and claim the promotion as it ends the 24th of February.

Seasonal celebrations are also underway in game with Lunar New Year themed cosmetics, including fiery horse inspired offerings and additional festive items now available to players logging in during the event window.

Digital Extremes has big plans ahead for the February 27 Devstream with a major information drop. The broadcast is expected to include a full reveal of the next Warframe, a new game mode, quality of life improvements, and further details on content already teased earlier this year. The developers also hinted at systemic updates and usability changes, including mission flow adjustments tied to new interactive mechanics that will be explained in greater detail during the stream.

As with most Devshorts, the session also highlighted ongoing bug fixes, feedback driven tweaks mentioned by the chat. With 2026 already seeing an Heirloom release and multiple system updates, Devshort 90 reinforced the roadmap as we barrel towards the next Devstream aimed at clarifying how the rest of the year in Warframe will unfold.
