While Vauban Heirloom headlines Update 41.1, the patch has far more in store than just a retouched frame. DE rounds out the first major Warframe update of 2026 with seasonal flair, long requested quest functionality, and an enormous wave of fixes and performance improvements.
It's The Year of the Horse
Lunar New Year celebrations are officially underway as 2026 marks the Year of the Horse. A Kaithe themed offering can be obtained during the New Year event, including as part of the Dagath Yfari Collection. Dagath receives a flaming hot Yfari Skin completely covered in a ghostly shimmer. As part of the pony-party, Dagath's phantom cavalry will take on a more menacing presence to match.
The collection also includes the Malaen Ephemera, an Indomitable Kaithe Floof, and a bundle of boosters and resources, including Kuva and Credits. Players can still earn Dagath for free by completing Alerts through February 18 for her Blueprint and components.
Alongside the Yfari Collection is the Year of the Kaithe Collection, featuring the Gynfas Kaithe Skin inspired by Duviri lore. The Gynfas Tail can be equipped across Kaithe pedigrees in Teshin’s Cave, expanding customization options. A Lunar Renewal Horse Sigil, a custom UI theme, a Kaithe Flourish emote, and the Tanau Sugatra round out the festive additions. The Lustrous Lunar Renewal Collection bundles both major offerings together, with additional Riven Mods included.
Floofs-For-All
Baro Ki’Teer will also carry some Lunar Renewal Horse Emblems during his February and March visits, while a Bingwu Glyph is available in the Market for one Credit. Floof-collectors will want to get their hands on the Squishy Triad Floof Bundle that transforms Marie, Roathe, and Lyon into plushy cuddle companions for your Orbiter.

Beyond cosmetics, The Old Peace Quest has received some meaningful updates. By popular demand, the main quest is now replayable through the Codex, and completing it rewards the Somatic Bearer Memorial Decoration via inbox. The new decoration displays up to nine names of Tenno who supported your run, essentially preserving the memory of those who fought at your side. Players who previously completed the quest will receive the decoration retroactively upon login.
For many players that noticed issues progressing through The Old Peace quests, DE has taken a hard pass at numerous progression blockers and edge cases preventing players from moving forward with missions and related quests with many having been resolved.
General changes include drop table adjustments in Arbitrations, tuning to the Install Shuttle Uplink Perita Rebellion order, expanded Mandarin voice over across multiple quests and mission types, and a wide array of UI, performance, and optimization passes.
Lighting improvements have been a notable objective for DE lately, and to that end you'll see Albrecht’s Laboratories and Stage Defense tilesets improved for clarity and frame stability, while backend chat server refactoring prepares for future cross platform improvements.
Rounding out the long list of updates and fixes are a host of mission, cosmetic, and KIM related resolutions that address everything from romance rank inconsistencies to armor offset issues and animation bugs. Crash fixes and script error corrections span Railjack, Arbitrations, Descendia, and more. You'll want to check the full patch notes if you're looking for a specific fix.
Update 41.1 is just the start of 2026's ever expanding world of Warframe. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as The Shadowgrapher update gets closer.
