[Grendel]'s entire kit hinges on Feast and this build attempts to abuse the ability as much as possible. We don't need to subsume but due to the general build stats we can abuse a few CC tools to increase our QoL and survivability.
Base abilities are run because his entire kit synergizes with high range. Pulverize is usually the ability you would replace because it limits your offensive options. If you're using the build in a more defensive manner you can replace Regurgitate.
Resontator, Ensnare, and Quiver are all great options for this build. Larva is not a good option because it makes you unable to use Feast on enemies.
[Brief Respite] allows [Grendel] to get a significant portion of his shields back, making his shield gates last longer. You can abuse this even further by running a Decaying Dragon Key.
Range and Duration are pumped as high as we can get them to abuse Feast. High range allows you to eat enemies from farther away and high duration keeps the energy drain low. This also allows us to abuse a subsumed CC tool.
Strength is low but Feast still does a lot of damage when you spit enemies back out by holding down the ability key. The damage calculation is far more influenced by the amount of enemies in your gut and their level.
[Natural Talent] helps your abilities to feel more fluid. It synergizes with several aspects of the kit including [Brief Respite] and Feast spam.
Arcane [Guardian] is a flex arcane that increases your survivability in general content. It can be replaced with any other arcane to suit your playstyle.
