Gauss can transform himself into a weapons-platform by utilizing Redline buffs. If you combine this with another subsumed buffing ability you can massively increase your QoL against the majority of content in the game.
Thermal Sunder is replaced because we don't have enough range to utilize it. This means we lose access to armor stripping so ensure you bring either some way to deal with armor or damage that goes straight through it by abusing slash procs.
Nourish, Smite, and Shock all increase the elemental damage of your weapons and even some of your abilities. This lets you save a mod slot or two on your other builds in your loadout. Nourish is the easiest to slot in as it doesn't require an augment but you can easily use the other two by replacing [Augur Secrets].
This build can also work with other damage buffing abilities like Xata's Whisper, Eclipse, or Roar. It even works with hybrid defensive/offensive options like Elemental Ward or Warcry. We don't really need those buffs to kill enemies but they can help you and your team to run unconventional or off-meta weapons.
[Enemy Radar] mods help us to find enemies. Due to the nature of the build we need to sometimes seek out stragglers.
[Rush] increases our sprint speed. This synergizes well with his passive to build battery meter. It can be replaced with many other exilus mods but the easy option is [Vigilante Pursuit].
Duration is maxed because it has an interesting interaction with Redline. The buffs scale off duration instead of ability strength. Abilities that drain battery have a slight negative synergy with this depending on how you're using them but the massive QoL increase is worth it. It also synergizes with our chosen subsumed abilities.
[Rolling Guard] protects us from scaled enemies. It can be replaced with any other survivability mod to suit your playstyle.
Arcane Velocity is run primarily because of the [Kuva Nukor] synergy but you can replace it with any other arcane that increases your damage. You can even run something like Arcane Resistance or Arcane Deflection if the enemies are putting out a lot of those procs.
