FIRE MODE
This is a Heat base build for Steel Path purposes. For more damage, if you dont want to use a Riven Mod, only you can do is swap [Vigilante Armaments] for a Faction Mod. If you want to use a Riven Mod, look for Heat > Damage > Multishot > Status Chance (in that order of priority).
Proc Type Chance = Damage ÷ Total Damage
For example, if a weapon's damage is composed of 20 Impact b Impact, 5 Puncture b Puncture, 10 Slash b Slash, 25 Heat b Heat, and 50 Corrosive b Corrosive, then its total damage is 20 + 5 + 10 + 25 + 50 = 110. Therefore, the chance for the individual damage types to proc will be: 1
For a purpose of maximizing DPS , you need your elemental damage to be in that order: Heat> Viral> Radiation. But why?
Radiation: attacks any closest enemy and will be attacked in return while dealing 100% additional damage to allied units for 12 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times, with subsequent procs increasing damage by 50% to a total of 550%. 2
Viral : amplifies damage dealt to health by 100% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times, with subsequent procs increasing damage to health by 25% to a total of 325%. 3
Heat: deals 50% of the base damage as Heat damage per second over 6 seconds (increase by Heat mods, can be refreshed) while causing the target to panic for 4 seconds and stripping up to 50% Armor. 4
Our table (proc chance):
It is important to note that these values refer to each beam produced by the weapon. Thanks to [Hell's Chamber] and [Vigilante Armaments] mod, we were able to obtain 15 beams. So, 4 beams procs Heat. 2 beams procs viral. and 1 beam procs radiation. We are fine with those values.
We release 180 beams per second (weapon fire rate base: 12), so per second we are applying 48 Heat procs, Viral cap, Radiation cap. (Approximate values)
