Helminth MagDroid - Tentacle Suction

So much fun with only one forma, meet Magdroid!

This is easily the most fun I have ever had playing [Hydroid], it works great for defense survival or excavation mission farming in larger maps that don't have narrow doors to use as choke points.

Start off by diving under water (3) and casting tentacles on the defense point or at a choke point nearby. Come back up to the surface once the [Kraken] rises, and start spamming [Mag] pull at the enemies. It has a 50 meter range and goes through walls, but it can't suck enemies through them of course. Anything that your tentacles don't catch as they come flying in can be caught by re-casting your 3 and hitting the fire button on an enemy to suck them directly in (30m range).

You can also cast your (2) to grab a group of enemies and slam them into your tentacles, just make sure to target a wall because this build has some serious yeet. You will make the Wukongs and Lokis look real bad once you start flying around the map at super sonic speed. Once you've caught the entire group in your swarm, surface and blast them to bits, spam mag pull for surprising AOE damage/re-snare, or let the [Nekros] slice them etc and prepare to spawn another group of tentacles. Our efficiency lets us reposition tentacles as often as we might want to make sure none of them are swinging at the air, which tends to be a problem with such a huge radius.

Keep in mind that your tentacles will target nearby enemies within range, and will all spawn under your feet if no targets are found nearby. Casting tentacles while in (3) gives a 200% strength bonus, making up for our somewhat low ability strength. While this is a nice buff, it also means we cannot use kitguns to boost ability strength, or run [Energy Conversion].

If you want more ability strength, you can replace [Augur Reach] for [Augur Secrets], or add a madurai forma for [Transient Fortitude] in place of [Augur Reach], and swap your exilus for [Cunning Drift].

Some stance combos slam procs do spawn tentacles but others do not, additional suggestions are made in the linked guide.

This build should be compatible with all other [Hydroid] builds, and can be used with zero formas with a normal [Intensify] and [Streamline] in place of [Blind Rage] and [Fleeting Expertise].
