War-Wind | Cheap & Easy 40k DPS | Dual Status/Crit

War is overlooked as a non-meta melee weapon, but with a combo status/crit build and [Condition Overload], you can make it absurdly powerful. Pair with a status weapon like Ignis Wraith to get the most out of your melee.

How To Use

  1. Apply status
  2. Spin-to-win

Pair With

Any frame with high survivability. I use this build on all my frames, but it works particularly well with Loki, Rhino, Valkyr, and Revenant.

Mods To Swap

Swap around the 60/60s to your liking. I prefer viral because it pumps up damage on every enemy type, I already use [Ignis Wraith] to armor strip, and you're gonna be doing such big damage numbers that armor won't matter that much. Swap to Corrosive if you're struggling, though.

For a cheaper build, you can take off the Primed Pressure Point and 60/60 mods, and instead use a regular [Pressure Point], [Weeping Wounds], and [Gladiator Vice]. This knocks your forma and endo cost down a bunch, and also your DPS, but it's more than enough for Steel Path.

If you really wanna go sicko mode, replace [True Steel] with [Sacrificial Steel]. The set bonus isn't worth it to replace [Primed Pressure Point], though. You just want the higher crit chance.
