Hello everyone,
My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over the [Arca Plasmor], The Boomstick. I thought it would be nice to take a break from Kuva weapons, so here we are.
This build does a heavy amount of damage to large crowds and easily kills crowds up to level 70 for Grineer & The Corrupted, while easily killing crowds up to level 135 for Corpus and Infested.
The [Arca Plasmor] is obtained from the Energy Lab in the dojo and requires these materials to make it.
The Arca Plasmor has a mastery rank of 10.
The [Arca Plasmor] comes with 3 "V" polarities and because of this the build only requires 4 forma.
Advantages:
High Critical Chance
Very High Status Chance
Innate 3 meter punch through
Shots have a guaranteed Impact Proc to enemies up to 15 meters
Disadvantages:
Innate Radiation Damage, no Physical Damage
Has linear damage falloff from 100% to 33.33% at 10 meters to 20 meters
Limited range of 30 meters
No Bonus damage on headshots
Lowest fire rate of all shotguns
Corpus:
The Arca Plasmor is mainly efficient against the corpus due to its innate Radiation damage and Impact procs. Magnetic/Toxin is really good against the corpus, but takes a slight hit to killing efficiency of high tier robotic enemies such as Bursa. Magnetic helps with deleting shields, while toxin helps with flesh damage of the human corpus.
Infested:
The elements used against the Infested are going to be Corrosive/Heat. Corrosive helps against the fossilized enemies, while Heat just annihilates Infested Flesh. This build however is still effective on Deimos due to the weapons innate radiation damage.
Corrupted/Grineer:
I am putting these two factions together for the purpose of their build and how efficient this weapon is against them. The elements used against these factions are going to be Viral/Heat. Viral helps by amplifying damage to health, while the heat helps with stripping armor, BUT due to the nature of this weapon it can hardly keep up while dealing with Alloy armor. It's just to slow and due to it being inefficient with corrosive stacks it just isn't a good choice to take this weapon against Grineer or the Corrupted over level 70.
Chilling Reload - In place of Chilling Grasp for the Grineer, and Corrupted builds. Due note that this will affect the damage in turn for reload speed.
Incendiary Coat, Chilling Grasp, and Contagious Spread - In place of Viscous Spread if you can't handle the spread, but due to Hell's Chamber the effect of Viscous spread isn't as bad, but noticeable. To be noted you will lose damage.
Charged Shell - If you don't have Primed Charged Shell
Point Blank - If you don't have [Primed Point Blank]
Try to stay around 44.8% Status Chance, it makes it so you are practically guaranteed at least one status proc, other than the guaranteed impact proc.
Any Critical enhancing mods - Yes the Critical Chance is high, but not enough to matter unless you have a critical Riven. Due to this build you are almost always getting one crit per shot.
Frail Momentum - Shotgun Spazz is more than enough fire rate for this weapon, honestly it sucks...
There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:
Damage:
Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.
[Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.
Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.
Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.
Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.
Wisp's Haste Reservoir bolsters fire rate, in turn increasing DPS.
Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.
Banshee's Sonar gives a huge damage multiplier, mine is 9.95x.
Critical Chance: (Though not recommended, here you are)
Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.
Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.
Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give weapons a 60% boost.
Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give 200% Crit Chance, giving guaranteed orange critical hits.
Arcane Rage - On headshot, 15% chance for 180% damage to primary weapons for 24 seconds.
Arcane Primary Charger - On melee kill, 30% chance for 300% damage to primary weapons for 12 seconds.
Arcane Avenger - Upon being damaged, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.
Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.
