Sentient tech merges with Corpus design to deliver this lethal sidearm. Fully automatic, it fires ricocheting, homing projectiles that release small clouds of Gas on impact. Alt-fire to release the entire magazine without homing as a single burst.

Why do we use?

Secondary Enervate -- Increases crit chance by 10% (flat) per hit. This works by setting your crit chance higher for the entire next shot, it is a flat bonus that works like puncture, and notably multishot does not affect this, only enemies hit per trigger pull.

To dive a little deeper; Enervate is a flat chance bonus that operate almost exactly like Encumber, which is based on 'per unit of time', but for crits.

Enervate allows all inflicted damage instances to increase arcane stacks but is coded to only check if the ‘initial projectile’ inflicted an orange and ignores all else like status dots and multishot. This is likely intentional as DE didnt want intrusive things like status dots stealing all the players pretty crit numbers which would make it seem like Enervate wasnt working..

Ice Storm + PHC -- Blast ticks are able to stack enervate but will NOT reset it, which allows us to overstack Enervate to hit Red Crits.

  • Ice Storm is used for magazine capacity which Cyanex needs desperately

  • Scorce for needed status chance and cheaper cost. Can optionally be traded for PHC for blast weight if Ice Storm is also traded for Frostbite

^^ Blast / Enervate is in addition to Cyanex main fire tracking projectiles / ricochets which are also able to stack enervate independently, as well as apply their own blast. With this, we are able to massively overstack enervate making [Cyanex] somehow crit viable...

Because blast ticks are slightly delayed, we will almost never be left with an unstacked Enervate, as blast is constantly cycling us though high stacks of Enervate and when we finish a reload Enervate will always be pre-stacked for us.

PTC -- A single crit damage mod that boosts us to 2.9x CM. When we overstack Enervate we can potentially hit enhancing red crits or even higher making Cyanex interestingly crit viable...

G Shot -- Multiplicative to Hornet Strike on direct hits / ricochet hits, also gives status chance.

Hornet Strike -- Necessary base damage for CO to multiply

Diffusion + LT -- Default multishot + fire rate

Elementalist -- Multiplicative status damage for Blast / Gas and just as importantly fixes reload speed.

  • Can optionally be swapped for Expel at the heavy price of longer reloads.
