Kuva The Nailer Drakgoon

Hello there,

As per Wiki:

  • Kuva Drakgoon: Shrapnel projectiles do not slow down after ricocheting; bigger magazine and shorter reload time
  • These weapons have a max rank of 40. To obtain the maximum rank, the player must polarize the weapon five times, with each Forma increasing the maximum possible rank by 2 (similarly as the Paracesis)
  • All Kuva weapons deal innate elemental damage in addition to physical damage. The amount of this damage is random, ranging from 25-60%, while the type of element is determined by the Progenitor Warframe, as per the table below:

According to the above, I added exactly 5 forma to this weapon, so we can obtain Mastery Points from it.

In this case, I recommend picking Heat as an elemental.

Some facts about Kuva Drakgoon:

  • Shots ricochets. This allows one to fire at a wall and kill an enemy behind cover, albeit with some difficulty. The projectiles bounce once when not charged, and bounce twice when fully charged
  • Charged shots have innate 1.5 meter punch through
  • No damage falloff
  • Very high overall Status Chance
  • Very fast charge speed
  • High ammo efficiency
  • Effective over multiple ranges due to charge/spread mechanic:
  1. Uncharged shots fires wide-dispersal shots to soften up multiple enemies at mid/long range, or quickly hit a single target at short range
  2. Charged shots fires a tightly focused blast over longer ranges for high single-target damage

Thanks to all the above, I could gain a quite powerful build without adding Riven on this weapon.

Cleanse Faction is flexible, can be changed according to the faction you are up against, or simply put [Primed Point Blank].
