Euphona Gimmick --
ADS fires a pinpoint shot with high crit and low status
Hipfire for a super close range shotgun mode with massive base multishot / damage, but debilitating stats, range, and spread
Why do we use?
Lethal Momentum -- Shotgun hipfire more than its terrible spread has a disasterous range graph, losing 100~1.14% damage between 6~12 meters. With [Lethal Momentum] we can at least extend this range to a usable 10.8~16.8 meters, which is just slightly shy of the average engagement range of 15~20 meters.
- The shotgun hipfire has a spread of 31 degrees, or a third of your screen at 100 fov, so anything past 15m and you arent hitting anything anyways..
EMPTY ARCANE is reserved for Secondary Enervate, which increases crit chance by 10% (flat) per hit. This works by setting your crit chance higher for the entire next shot, it is a flat bonus that works like puncture, and notably multishot does not affect this, only enemies hit per trigger pull.
- This is why Enervate works exceptionally well on shotgun secondaries with a ton of multishot, and you will hit multiple times more crits than expected before reset.
UNRANKED Seeker is a placeholder for 'Merciless Gunfight', which gives necessary punch and extra crit damage for Enervate
- Punch Through works with Enervate because you are actually hitting a separate enemy with each shot, so we are able to cycle through Enervates bonus much faster for more DPS
PTC - Only a crit damage mod is needed this time as Enervate will be our cc. Enervate is a flat and more reliable bonus.
G Shot - Necessary base damage
Diffusion + LT - both for added multishot to hit more crits per cycle with Enervate
Pestilence + Convulsion - to make raw corrosive. Euphona lacks status chance so it is better to focus on raw damage rather than status dps. With corrosive we use a primed elec mod for raw elemental damage and toxin 60 for minor chance.
PHC - A second primed mod for raw elemental damage and heat status which can partial strip alongside corrosive.
Be sure to prime viral externally in some form ^^. Modded viral will perform better than modded corrosive until any amount of viral is primed externally, even 1 stack.
