Twin Gunners - Celestial Twin Specialty

Welcome to this guide! From here, you will learn the viability of the guns-only [Wukong] build and see how far can you [Reach] with a simple build.

This build is designed to welcome players to a conservative play style of sparingly used abilities, mostly gun play and an ergonomic approach to resources. However, once you have gained enough understanding of this build, feel free to min-max your builds suitable to your taste.




What can YOU Expect from this build:

You can expect a very tanky Wukong with a reliable gunman by his side all the time (well most of the time, for nullifiers and cliff-jumpng reasons.).

You won't feel compelled to spam your abilities, but only use them tactically.

You can go twice as much of the FULL DAKKA

With a good Primary or Secondary, expect your gunman to be in charge of killing on The Index.

Easily usable for solo Free Roam Missions. Fish and mine, while your twin commits genocide upon the victims.




Things to Know:

1) For this build to work as intended, you will need to have your MELEE WEAPON UNEQUIPPED. This is so that to capitalize on Wukong's Celestial Twins on resorting to only using a Primary or Secondary, while you are holding one too.

1-a) Replacing Primal Fury with Rhino's Roar is an OPTIONAL EXTENSION for this build. Having a toggle-able melee weapon is also viable, however for the sake of fun, replacing it is equivalent of having totally no melee weapons at all. To explain this further, you will need Helminth System to make this happen, and subsuming a Rhino along the process.

2) ALL 10-RANKED MODS ARE UPGRADED UP TO RANK 8 ONLY. Continuing to maximize their rank to Rank 10 will give a total cost of 145,920 Endo and 5,935,104 Credits, not to mention the incoming lack of mod capacity to pull the build off.

3) ARCANES ARE OPTIONAL. This build can still thrive without the listed arcane, or can be substituted with something else, preferable to your sub-play style. Will still talk about the two arcanes below anyway as a guide extension.




Where to Obtain What:

ADAPTATION MOD - Obtained in Arbitrations (upon completing all standard mission nodes.)

PRIMED CONTINUITY - Can be purchased Baro K'iteer, appearing in relays on a bi-weekly basis. Ready some Ducats and Credits for it

ARCANE ARACHNE - Obtained by hunting Eidolons at night, in Plains of Eidolon. It can be an infuriating grind as you will need 21 copies of it to have Rank 5. However, purchasing this arcane via trade chat or https://warframe.market/ is superbly cheap!

ARCANE RAGE - Same as above (Arcane Arachne), however they impose having value in trade.

UMBRAL MODS SET - Upon completion of the The [Sacrifice] Quest, you can get those three for free (or just buy them for standing with Cephalon Simaris if you have somewhat accidentally dissolved these for Endo)

SAXUM CARAPACE - Can be replaced JUGULUS CARAPCE if you have it, these mods can be obtained via Endless Bounty Mission on Cambrion Drift, Deimos.

CARNIS CARAPACE - You can obtain this by chance from killing Deimos Carnis Rex (centipede horror)

RHINO (as sacrificial lamb) - Component blueprints are obtainable via The Jackal located on Fossa, Venus.




How to Use this build:

FIRST AND FOREMOST, activate [Wukong]'s Celestial Twins or else, what for this build was made, right? ( xD joke's aside, pls do use his 1st Skill...)

*WHEN SURROUNDED BY A BIG BUNCH OF BADDIES, you can use [Wukong]'s Defy** to charge up damage, [Reflect], and gain additional Armor for more sustain. from having

LOW ON HEALTH? [Wukong]'s Cloud Walker can be used as a highly mobile escape, and moving around with it will heal both you and your twins. Can also be used to bypass laser gates, making [Wukong] also Spy Mission viable.

FOR EXTRA WEIGHT ON YOUR DAKKAS you can cast [Rhino]'s Roar and with favorable conditions, the roar will grant you additional 61% Total Damage Buff, at which by how its mathematics work, it's very good for a subsumed ability.




Synergy Works:

Wielding Primaries or Secondaries that both AUTO and EXPLOSIVE are ideal for this build.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE CASE STUDY:

Weapons such as TRUMNA or ACCELTRA excels with this build.

Somehow a STRUN WRAITH built for high fire-rate will turn it into a man-[Shredder].

[Opticor Vandal] can obliterate enemies with decent speed.

Using bows such as PARIS could feel very lackluster for your Celestial Twin.




Overall, this build is meant for casual gameplay, while still being Steel Path viable (can handle Level 100+) and can be recommended to newer players! So have fun with the big guns and go twice the DAKKAS!
