Flick away the enemy with this heavy warfan. The Quassus scatters ethereal daggers that are even more deadly accurate when wielded by Xaku.

Quassus, the kebab slicer

Weird weapon, weird build. Not that many offensive mods may make people think that it's not going to work. Let me explain first. On heavy attacks, this weapon throws 12 daggers (6 per fan) on the first heavy attack, and 6 other daggers on a 2nd heavy attack if done shortly after the first one. This build is made for Steel Path and/or high level enemies. It won't work properly on lower levels.

This build, as you can see with [Amalgam Organ Shatter], is a heavy attack build. BUT. Also a combo based build thanks to those 6 daggers thrown with a 100% chance to proc a slash status combined to [Relentless Combination] and [True Punishment], giving 2 combo points per slash status damage tick.

[Reflex Coil], added to Zenurik's Inner Mind focus, allows you to [Reach] the 90% combo efficiency cap on heavy attacks. Of course you can use other focus like Naramon if you feel better with it, but you will have to [Sacrifice] some efficiency for it.

[Body Count] is mainly here to counter [True Punishment]'s negative stat, allowing you to keep your combo a bit longer, in cases of enemies taking time to come. Can be replaced by [Gladiator Rush] if you don't use [Helios]' weapon as a gladiator set stat stick.

For the offensive part of the build, [Primed Pressure Point] can easily be replaced by [Condition Overload] if you use a multi status weapon. I recommend using [Ferrox] for its ability to pack enemies together when thrown, giving them free status procs and making them free targets for your daggers.

Your combo being easily stacked to x12 due to the 2nd row of mods, [Blood Rush] with its 660% crit chance at x12 is better than [Sacrificial Steel] with a 440% crit chance on heavy attacks.

Anti faction mods are very welcome on this kind of build. It greatly improve your slash damage procs, and thus their damage ticks. You will have to adapt it to the faction you are facing.

[Amalgam Organ Shatter], primordial mod for heavy builds, is mostly here for its crit damage and heavy attack speed. Nothing much to say about this one.

Now that you got the build, you have to use it. Not really hard, but daggers spread and gravity will require to get a bit close to enemies to properly hit them.

Some frames are highly efficient with this weapon: [Mag] for her bubble that will group enemies AND redirect daggers to the center (they are projectiles, after all) [Vauban], [Khora], [Nidus] also for their ability to group mobs, but also invisible frames like [Ivara] or [Octavia] with a [Ferrox] to group + status proc enemies while being safe due to invisibility.

To properly use the build, you will have to throw one or two heavy at a few enemies to start stacking your combo. It goes up really fast, you don't have to worry. Once your combo is stacked, enemies will turn into kebab. Thanks to combo efficiency you will be able to maintain a high combo multiplier as long as you hit enemies and proc slash on them. This will allow you to easily kill some high level enemies with a lot of ease.
