Main-Fire and Toxin AoE Cloud are Multi CO
Incarnon Form has 50% additive CO on AOE Direct
Radial hit only receives CO bonus on target directly hit by bullet.
AoE does NOT scale off multishot.
The [Torid] is an Infested variant of the [Ogris], firing Toxin grenades that releases clouds, similar to the ones thrown by Lobber Crawlers.
Incarnon Evolutions:
Evolution I:
Direct shots charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
Fire a long-range Toxin beam.
Evolution II: Final Fusillade:
Increase Damage by +51.
+3 Multishot on last shot in magazine.
Evolution III: Extended Volley:
Increase Magazine Capacity by +9.
Evolution IV: Commodore's Fortune:
Increase Critical Chance by +20%.
Why Raw Damage?
Because of the scaling of AOE Direct on Hit-Scan AOE weapons, they do not scale AOE damage with multishot mods. Essentially Multishot does nothing for the AOE, but those same AOE CAN crit. This prompts that scaling something like [Primary Acuity] as the optimal option against VIP targets. It's more apparent when we test against demolishers where that multishot build starts to fall off... HARD. Modding for [Primary Acuity] showed very impressive results.
Alternatives to Building
Not a fan of bane mods? Fuck bane mods. This weapon LOVES crit. Adding onto another 120% crit damage to our original mod setup is impressive. This is where [Bladed Rounds] comes in for giving more of that juicy crit damage. I specifically suggest running this by default when fighting factions that do NOT have a bane yet.
Primary Merciless vs Primary Deadhead
When opting for a DoT option on the [Torid], it'd feel ideal to run Primary Merciless, as the DoT will proc the damage bonus. Deadhead requires that the player actually kill the target with a headshot directly. DoT kills will NULL the Deadhead from stacking, with the exception of Electricity and Gas: these DoTs proc Deadhead and [Galvanized Scope] conditions. Primary Merciless comes in when we try to run Toxin, Heat, Slash, etc. These status effects ignore the initial body part of the application and apply as center mass DoTs. This means they will NOT proc Deadhead, but they WILL proc Merciless.
Toxin
The [Torid] has inherent Toxin, meaning the initial weighting of Toxin is 100%. If we plan to scale the DoT of the weapon as high as possible, chances are that modding for Toxin will yield the highest DoT output. Merciless, Toxin mod, and Elementalist -- along with running Plentiful Mayhem over Evolution II. We go down to 31 base damage, but instead we gain the multishot damage increase by +60%. [Saryn] LOVES this weapon... a lot! same with [Grendel] if you stack Toxin Elementalist Shards (Emerald). Personally, for status procs, running Survivor's Edge on Evolution IV for the extra status chance is HUGE for the proc rate.

This is why we have 3 configs to choose from, and I always recommend trying out different builds for your missions.
