It just keeps getting better!
In the newest Warframe: 1999 update, some changes affected the [Vermisplicer] in a pretty spicy manner. Difference between this build and my old corrosive+blast vermi is that it relies on Shock Trooper or similar mods for DoTs. This opens up two new mod slots, leaving behind Blast for Elementalist and Serration.
Mod breakdown is pretty much the same, but here's a modified copy-paste from the corrosive build:
Rime Rounds - Combines with the innate toxin on the build to create Viral. If you get Viral from another source eg Panzer Vulpaphyla or Diriga then use High Voltage instead.
Rifle Elementalist - Status damage. Electric proc go big boom = happy :)
Serration - Probably not best in slot over a bane conditionally, but makes it much easier to ramp up in general gameplay and lets you kill enemies at 0 merciless stacks.
Galvanized Chamber - Multishot is a flat multiplier to all non-crit non-fr stats on beams. 76.8 SC at 3.3 MS makes 253 SC. This SC is multiplied by the MS again at the damage instance, so each status tick does 3x damage as well. A sort of double-dip effect.
Galvanized Aptitude - You have 4 different status effects and ridiculously high status chance. There is no reason not to run this mod.
Primed Shred - You can replace this with any fire rate mod, but the punch-through helps with even better mob clearing. Base Shred is also fine.
Point Strike // Vital Sense - Crit.
Now for framebuffing. This build particularly needs it, otherwise you're back to running 3 status mods just to get a DoT out of this thing.
Shock Trooper - The most accessible option. Fits on any frame, gives your gun elec, does good.
Fireball Frenzy - If you like [Ember], use this. Heat damage is generally more powerful than Electric, but now you've got an Atomos in your primary slot. Also, if your sentinel or abilities are consistently priming enemies with heat, you'll get screwed over by a little mechanic called heat inherit.
Thermal Transfer - For if you REALLY want heat on your vermi on any frame.
Addressing some questions from the last build:
There is no specific "riven" slot. If you have a decent riven, look at it and decide which mod you are going to replace based on the stats on the riven. e.g +damage +ms: replace [Serration]
Feel free to slightly modify the kitgun parts for whatever reason. It might do better, it might not. I'm just bored and uploading what I'm using in case people find this gun cool. Try not to lose too much status chance if you want to use this build though.
