You already know that the [Panzer Vulpaphyla] is immortal and can spread viral procs far and wide, but this set takes full advantage of its ability to deal small but constant ticks of damage to a large number of enemies.

[Hunter Recovery] is a good mod in theory that's usually let down by dumb companion AI and low damage, but panzer circumvents both problems. The spores deal consistent damage once applied, even while your fox is busy staring at a wall, and the low damage is made up for by the sheer number of spores you can accumulate. Thanks to the game's rounding errors, each spore tick has to heal 1hp no matter how little damage it does, so spreading 10 spores gives you 10hp/s healing, essentially giving you a free [Rejuvenation] aura.

On the topic of spreading spores, panzer is probably the best user of [Synth Deconstruct] in the game. Normally you would use a sentinel with a splash damage weapon like the [Sweeper] or [Helstrum], but the problem has always been that you need to purposely slow down your killing and wait for the sentinel to tag enemies before you kill them. With the panzer, you are actively helping to spread spores by killing enemies, which means that you can get health orbs with remarkable consistency without changing your play pattern at all. It can possibly even open up [Health Conversion] and [Equilibrium] builds on frames that normally can't generate their own health orbs.
