The idea is to run around with 2 and 4 for fun times.
235 range is the basement for making 2 work well. Other stats fit into place after that.
To fully strip armor and shields with [Gaze], run Molt Augmented or [Growing Power] or the Madurai focus school to [Reach] 200+ strength.
For general play I recommend replacing the first ability with a defensive subsume. I went with Condemn, but Pillage works too. Condemn is very comfy because [Xaku]'s cc options otherwise depend on using the annoying selector wheel and cost a lot of energy. Gloom is also a contender if you're willing to deal with constant energy drain.
[Rolling Guard] because there's very little you can do with mods to increase survivability due to low base stats. [Adaptation], [Vitality] or [Redirection] can replace it but none of them will be particularly effective. Could also be a flex spot if defense isn't a concern.
[Preparation] is the main flex spot. It's nice for getting the first cast of 4 and 2 in at the start of missions, though has less impact in longer missions. Boosting the range a little higher with Augur Reach is a safe alternative. Primed Flow fits if Stretch or Streamline is moved out of one of the - polarities to the neutral spot. Parkour and movement speed mods are good fits for zooming through missions. Replacing [Umbral Intensify] can work as another flex option if [Gaze] armor strip isn't important at all.
