Xaku: Empower/Roar/Ensnare - Empowered Gaze

[Gaze] from The Lost is able to fully strip armor and shields from enemies at appropriate ability strengths. This build attempts to get full defense reduction with as few stat sacrifices as possible. We subsume an ability that either helps us get to the threshold or buffs our damage.

Empower is chosen because it saves a mod slot which can be used for any number of improvements. Buffs like Roar and Eclipse can significantly increase your damage but you need to make up for the lost ability strength. Ensnare and Larva synergize with the high range but have the same issue.

[Xata]'s Whisper and Grasp of [Lohk] are the two candidates for replacement. [Xata]'s Whisper is a strong weapon buff but doesn't synergize with the high Range stat. Grasp of [Lohk] is a decent DPS increase and a CC tool on enemies with guns. Either is a good call depending on your playstyle.

Strength being around 200% is critical to every build. You need it to fully strip armor and shields with [Gaze]. There are many ways to do this and it gives you a lot of build freedom. If you choose to drop Empower then [Transient Fortitude] or [Energy Conversion] will make up for the difference. Unfortunately to fit them into the build plan you'll have to drop [Primed Sure Footed]. [Blind Rage] is dropped down by a rank as we don't need over 155% with Empower but you can run a maxed version as well.

Range should be near the max. [Gaze] is a very powerful tool held back by a lackluster aura radius. [Overextended] is fine to play with the ranks to get more ability strength back but be careful dropping it too far as the mod essentially becomes a wasted slot. [Augur Reach] can be swapped out on smaller tilesets.

Efficiency is fairly low but some of the cooldowns on your base abilities are stalled each time you use The Vast Untime. This allows you to keep multiple abilities up for a relatively cheap energy economy alternative. If you're having energy economy issues you can opt to only cast [Gaze].

Duration is boosted a bit so that your energy economy is kept in check. If you're confident with having lower duration then replace [Primed Continuity] for [Transient Fortitude] or [Energy Conversion] so that you can drop Empower or [Growing Power].

[Primed Sure Footed] is expensive but useful. Replace it if you're having issues fitting mods into the polarity plan.

Arcane Velocity is primarily run for the [Kuva Nukor] synergy. It can be replaced with any other arcane to suit your playstyle.
