Phantasma Steelpath Build | Area DMG

Intro

Since Blast rework in Update 36, it status became more useful then it used to be previously.
Now [Phantasma] can nuke groups of enemies more easily with that type of damage.
I didn't see similar guide so I decided to put it here.

Fractions review

It works with the following types of enemies on steel path:

  • Corpus - just perfectly!
  • Grineer - it has some problems with heavy units - you'll need to stack Primary Merciless and Galvanised mods on weaker units.
  • Murmur - better than Corpus ;-) - they have radiation weakness
  • infested - I didn't notice any problems
  • Dejmos infested - unfortunately this shit is really strong... You'll run out of ammunition before you can kill them so you might need something stronger here.
  • Using it on Bosses with status immunity is deffinitly not reccommended

Building order

Generally there are 3 essential mods here.

  • First of all build Heat+Cold for Blast
  • as soon as possible add Shotgun Elementalist.
  • and now you can easily onslaught and level it up. As you get more levels add more power with multishot.

Modification

Generally this build includes my strongest mods at the moment (I'll update it if I get something better).
You can change some of them if you don't want to form your phantasma or don't have some unique mods:

  • Primed mod can be ofc changed with its common version
  • you can change Blaze with +heat +status
  • I recommend keeping [Galvanized Hell] here (and if you don't have it I recommend obtaining it as its usefull in other builds) but you can put just +multishot mod instead and it should work.
  • [Galvanized Savvy] could be also changed for +status

Warframe

I use it with [Revenant Prime] (prime doesn't matter I think, its just easier to obtain if its in rotation) with Red Archon Shard +status.
It has also [Rhino]'s "Roar" (on 3) to add extra damage as a fallback for guys who have status immunity.
