Sevagoth Final Boss | Exalted | Steel Path + Level Cap | Roar

TL;DR:

This guide serves to provide a detailed approach to the warframe. Optimization and creativity are the goal to every build; however, you are entitled to try anything you want. Enjoy it and have fun ;P

[Sevagoth], The Shrouded Swashbuckler

From the dark depths of the Veil, [Sevagoth] lay his rest. SIKE! We're awake, bitches! Grab that [Rhino] you swore you'd never part with and kill that mf because we're eatin' goooood tonight. Strike a pose, punch a nose, and Roar your foes back from whence they came. It's Morbin time, baby! >:)

Exalted Weapon:

The Shadow Build

The Shadow Claws Build

Archon Shards:

4 Crimson Tau Shard(s): Ability Strength +15% for 60% for straight nukes and the ability to max slow with gloom on other configs.
1 Amber Tau Shard(s): Casting Speed +37.5%

Abilities & Synergy:

Passive:

"On death, become [Sevagoth's Shadow] and fight to resurrect him by collecting the souls needed to rebuild his tombstone."
[Sevagoth] and his Shadow go hand in hand. When we choose [Sevagoth], we choose The Shadow as well. That being said, [Sevagoth] is meant to cycle between the warframe and his Shadow. On death in Shadow, return to [Sevagoth]. On death in [Sevagoth], return to Shadow. Aside from that, this passive kinda sucks ass. I love The Shadow, but being locked to only using the 2nd ability of The Shadow is really ass. Not to mention, The Shadow still takes all the damage normally while trying to res the warframe. Our Shadow is very good at survivability, and we won't have too many issues running it when trying to self res, but just something for DE to think about.

1st Ability — Reap:

"[Sevagoth]’s Shadow flies outward ravaging enemies in his path. Survivors are damaged by Death’s Harvest over time. The souls of the dead fill the Death Well."
When casting Reap, [Sevagoth] sends out The Shadow to deal damage to nearby targets, which always prioritize the target that the player is aiming at. The Shadow applies Death's Harvest on the target, and they receive a damage vulnerability. Enemies affected by Sow within Reap's radius take an additional 25% of their max health as true damage. To effectively deal the most damage, we want to cast Sow, then Reap twice after. The first Reap will deal damage and apply the vulnerability, and the second Reap will now deal the applied damage based on the vulnerability.
Combined with the augment, Shadow Haze, enemy on-death effects summon additional shadows (Max: 3) to [Sevagoth]'s side, inflicting more Death's Harvest onto enemies. This augment also increases the critical chance rating of your weapons toward the affected enemies.

2nd Ability — Sow:

"Plant a death seed in nearby targets to drain their lifeforce. Reap what has been sown to detonate afflicted enemies, dealing a percentage of their health as radial damage. The souls of the dead fill the Death Well."
This ability is our ticking time bomb. When enemies die, it fills the meter for Death Well (The Shadow's ability currency). It places an inevitable death debuff that can be procced from casting Reap sequential to Sow. Sow->Reap->Reap combo causes enemies to take their health in true damage, based on a percentage of their max health.
With the Augment, [Dark Propagation], [Sevagoth] will spread the Sow effect to nearby enemies with afflicted targets die, similar to [Banshee]'s [Resonance] Augment. Additionally, the augment causes shadows to add the effect of Sow onto enemies when afflicted with Death's Harvest. This synergy of the two augments also affects the Exalted Shadow.
Moddable by Duration, Range, and Strength

3rd Ability — Gloom:

"Summon a radial pulse wave that ensnares and slows enemies, siphoning their lifeforce for the Death Well. Allies within the wave steal health with each attack."
Gloom functions as both a crowd control and a survivability feature. The magic number for Gloom is 272% Power Strength. 95%/35% = 2.714 -> Rounded to 2.72 or 272%. With the stats on this build, you may also run any set up with Gloom and fully cap out on the slow. This allows you to build this warframe with any setup you choose and still have the liberty of hitting magic numbers for the full capability of the warframe. Personally, because of the efficiency of the build, I have decided to change out Gloom for Roar, rather than get rid of the Shadow. The reason for this is because my Shadow is ~legendary~, and the augments of the other two abilities also synergize with the Exalted Shadow. This doesn't mean you can't keep Gloom; it's a great ability.

4th Ability — Exalted Shadow:

"When the Death Well fills to above 75%, Sevagoth’s Shadow form is ready to be released. Tear the enemy asunder with a collection of Melee-focused Abilities. Death Well Drain: 1%s"
The dear Exalted Shadow. The Shadow is almost perfect, in the sense that it deals massive damage, crowd controls, strips armor with the claws modded for toxin and [Archon Continuity]. The downside is the movement. The shadow can feel slow sometimes in the beginning, but after some time you'll get used to it. The second ability serves as a movement tech, but its the same ability only accessible in the resurrect state... Anyway, the Shadow is affected by both of [Sevagoth]'s augments, so when you pull all local enemies together and cast Death's Harvest, they will all be vulnerable to damage. Kill one of those enemies in the group, and the entire conglomerate will implode in [Sevagoth] fashion. Please refer to The Shadow build to view the stats and how I personally choose to survive with it. Additionally, the Archon Shards on Sevagoth affect The Shadow -- the more you know.

Helminth Subsume(s)

Roar:

"Grants all nearby Warframes increased damage for a short duration."
For Sevagoth, Roar serves a VERY important purpose. Roar acts as a multiplicative damage buff to the True Damage of Sevagoth's Sow->Reap->Reap combo. The vulnerability and the damage bonus from Roar effectively instakills enemies. At 255% Strength we are actually one shotting all targets. See my scratchwork for the math proof. I choose to subsume Roar over Gloom instead of the Shadow because our [Sevagoth] focuses on clearing enemies and shield gating for survivability. Healing is not viable at level cap, nor is slowing enemies when they should be nearby for the Sow->Reap->Reap combo to take place.
Moddable by Duration, Range, and Strength

Play Style:

Rotation(s):

Activate Roar and maintain the buff, When at maxed Molt Augmented stacks, we are at 279% power strength, meaning we can not only one shot with the Roar setup and/or full 95% slow on Gloom. If you opt for Roar over the 4th instead, then maintain both Gloom and Roar, be sure to recast Gloom at max Augmented for the maximum slow.

While Roar is active, you can cast Sow->Reap->Reap Again in that order. In the event that multiple enemies are nearby but not close enough to the initial Reap explosion, the "[Resonance]" like effect from [Dark Propagation] will prime the next set of enemies to be Reaped again. Following the death of the first set of enemies, [Sevagoth's Shadow](s) will spawn from the corpses and follow your reticle when aimed down. Focusing an enemy will draw the Shadow(s) to target that enemy. You can synergize both the augments and the Sow->Reap->Reap combo to boost your critical damage on weapons and rip through hallways with the extra shadows.

Game mode(s):

[Sevagoth] excels in everything from Exterminates to Interceptions. The warframe is capable of everything with the Roar synergy. Void Cascades are rendered as child's play as the abilities alone can take out thraxes at level cap. Disruptions are made easy with a little bit of priming from Viral's 4.25X (1+3.25) multiplier on damage done to enemies affected.

The funniest place to watch [Sevagoth] take out enemies is in Duviri Spiral, as the vast armies of corrupted don't stop spawning, allowing you to chain Dark Propagations across the tile set.

FInally, Have fun ;)

Arsenal:

Primary Weapon(s):

[Boltor Prime]:

The [Boltor] is the nail gun from Final Destination, and as deadly as it was in the movie, it's even worse in Warframe. High Status (and Primary Crux) on the Prime version and High Critical from the incarnon benefits + [Sevagoth]'s augment.
Boltor Prime Build - No Riven

[Boar Prime]:

In my opinion, the strongest shotgun in the game. It’s strong on its own, and in incarnon form can wipe rooms similar to the [Torid]. When fighting a strong enemy head on, stay in regular mode or go incarnon for the heat procs, and when killing trash mobs, definitely go incarnon for that beam to chain enemies.
Boar Prime Build - No Riven

[Torid]:

I don’t think I need to explain the [Torid], but it’s the strongest beam weapon in the game… so charge that incarnon and watch the gun do what it do.
Torid Build - No Riven

[Burston Prime]:

The tried and true weapon of level cap cascades. The [Burston] is the ultimate reliable weapon when handling even the toughest of enemies. I've never seen an incarnon so efficient with charge up to ammo ratio. This is a true beauty.
Burston Prime Build - No Riven

[Braton Prime]:

The [Braton Prime] used to be a poor man's rifle; now it serves as a symbol of fear. Blessing us with an incarnon, DE gave us one the most fun incarnons in the form of [Braton] Incarnon. The Incarnon launches napalm bullets that explode on impact, dealing heat damage to surrounding enemies. When you decide to run Gloom on [Sevagoth], the [Braton Prime] is well worth trying, as the incarnon bonus for efficiency on channeled abilities ties perfectly on this warframe.
Braton Prime Build - No Riven

[Kuva Sobek]:

The [Kuva Sobek] and its augment, [Acid Shells], collide like a hollow purple when paired with a bane mod. Acid Shells deal corrosive damage and 45% of health damage as cinematic damage in an on-death effect of a killed enemy -- exploding in a local 15m radius. Out of all the scaling damage augments, the [Sobek]'s augment is the highest range out of them all. So, aside from pairing the [Sobek] with the Blighted Bussy [Saryn] or the Flappy Bird [Zephyr], we can also combine it with any frame that runs Roar. If we can scale Roar and a bane mod additively to above 122%, then we can insta kill enemies that are surrounding the [Acid Shells] target. This lines up with the theme of [Sevagoth]'s instakill "playstyle".....
Kuva Sobek Build - No Riven

Secondary Weapon(s):

Dual Toxocyst:

The strongest primer/add clear secondary (in my opinion). In incarnon form, it basically becomes a melee influence as a gun and shits on everything.
Dual Toxocyst Build

[Epitaph Prime]:

A wide ranged AOE primer that forces cold procs (+ impact on direct hits) and procs other modded status effects at once. This is one the best aoe primers in the game! Swap it around to now make it the strongest heavy hitting [Pistol Acuity] weapon that primes its own heavy shot. We're talking BILLIONS of damage. Serving as [Sevagoth]'s signature weapon, the [Epitaph] gains a further +20% headshot damage. If this wasn't already goated... istg
Epitaph Prime Build

[Furis]:

The ultimate underdog of Warframe secondaries. For those who have played the game long enough to get all the incarnons have finally woken up to this weapon. This thing is THE gun. Imagine a 7-7-7 amp, but give it as an incarnon… that is the [Furis] incarnon.
Furis Build

[Atomos]:

[Atomos] has great stats, and the weapon becomes a cannon in incarnon form. Combined with blast on the weapon and heat from [Heated Charge], it'll beam down crowds and bosses alike.
Atomos Build

[Ocucor]:

Occucor has a great trash clear potential when combined with the augment. Stacking kills with the beams, you can continue to add beams, critical chance, and status chance.
Ocucor Build

Melee Weapon(s):

[Falcor]:

Contrary to most Thrown Melees, the [Falcor] can force proc electricity from any throws — NOT JUST the heavy explosion. If you’ve got all the enemies piled up, Chuck the [Falcor] into them, and watch as blast and corrosive builds up on all of them, while the forced electricity throws them all into a cascaded spiral.
Falcor Build

[Praedos]:

Not only a great stat stick for movement speed and parkour velocity, the [Praedos] can be used to nuke rooms too. I like the melee both for the passive buffs and Melee Afflictions or Melee Influence.
Praedos Build

[Okina Prime]:

The [Okina] incarnon form was among the most recent additions to the incarnon genesis pool. You can activate incarnon form at 5X combo and the weapon will summon spectral blades that revolve around the player. Combined with the passive for paused combo duration on other weapons, you can activate the [Okina] and take advantage of primary weapons or ability spamming while the [Okina] still does damage.
Okina Prime Build

Companion(s):

Farming Companion(s):

[Chesa Kubrow]:

I used this companion as the main farming beast. As [Nekros] Lite, you can double drops from enemies as you’re plowing and pooling loot from survivals.
Chesa Kubrow Build

[Smeeta Kavat]:

The [Smeeta Kavat] may not have the double drops anymore, but it still rolls a bonus that applies a better chance for rare items to spawn. That being said, the Smeeta can also improve crit chance, raise affinity gain, energy refund, instant reload, and improved shields. Just when we thought the Smeeta was outdated from the retriever mod conversion, they left us a rarity drop bonus for the [Charm].
Smeeta Kavat Build

Effective Companion(s):

[Panzer Vulpaphyla]:

The Panzer is a very well respected companion in the warframe community, for very good reason. It primes targets with viral, procs [Archon Stretch] while doing it (if claws are modded for electricity), and revives the Tenno by sacrificing itself. With a warframe like [Sevagoth] or [Inaros], the on death mechanic can be postponed as this little badass just saved your sorry ass.
Panzer Vulpaphyla Build

[Huras Kubrow]:

Where everyone uses the invisibility dog, you can too with the [Huras Kubrow]. This beast makes you invisible when near enemies, but this is not required to be effective.
Huras Kubrow Build

[Diriga]:

Primer Side Piece, the [Diriga] can utilize its precepts to prime enemies so hard, you’d forgotten that enemies had defenses.
Diriga Build

[Dethcube Prime]:

An extremely underrated companion. The [Dethcube] can kill everything, seriously… while showering you with all types of orbs. I love the [Dethcube] for Warframes that don’t have easy sustain, so feel free to use [Dethcube] if you don’t want to use Nourish. Any amount of [Equilibrium] will skyrocket the effectiveness of this companion.
Dethcube Prime Build

[Helios Prime]:

[Banshee] Lite, my personal favorite companion. The [Helios] scans enemies into your codex, and after fully scanned, [Helios] will expose weak spots for you to poke at.
Helios Prime Build

[Nautilus Prime]:

Everyone’s Favorite [Vacuum], the [Nautilus] can suck and blow enemies away by utilizing its precepts and status stacking for easy AOE kills.
Nautilus Prime Build

Focus School(s):

Madurai:

I use this ALL THE TIME, but that doesn’t mean this is the only thing you can use. Madurai is the strongest operator school if you’ve already got a way to armor strip. We can utilize a fully built Madurai school to give ourselves + 40% power strength when needed and faster casting speed bonuses when slinging with operator. Additionally, the operator can utilize the…
1 — Void Strike: use all remaining operator energy to transfer to operator Amp damage.
2 — Contamination Wave: make enemies 50% more vulnerable to operator damage.

Amp(s):

Below is a guide I made to help you understand which amp is right for you. Categories are separated by effectiveness in different content.

HP’s Overall Rating: 9.0/10

[Sevagoth] is by far the most interesting warframe. With a mechanic of another warframe as an exalted, it brings similar aspects of [Equinox]. To be able to one shot enemies and have archon shards that affect The Shadow, it provides a completely separate approach to modding a warframe. You can either go fully into [Sevagoth], fully into The Shadow, or a combination of both (like me).
