Are you ready to make your opponents smell like Chernobyl? This is the build for you. He has been in my constant rotation since his release and became an instant favorite of mine (hence the reason I spent two Umbra forma on a non-Prime Warframe). This build is not exactly new player friendly as it requires Umbra formas as well as some harder to acquire arcane and primed mods.
This build is designed for ultimate survivability, great DPS, and I think most importantly for fun [Qorvex] play...fantastic energy economy so you can practically spam his abilities.
Not included in the details of the build here is the archon shards. I have him with two azure shards for added armor. This puts his armor total at 2750! So not only are you just topping 90% damage reduction but with the Arcane Battery (scale your energy pool off of total armor) arcane you get a whopping 1025 energy pool AND free up a mod slot since you clearly don't need [Flow]. Along with Arcane Energize to quickly start filling up this massive energy pool, you get a quick start with an amber shard to provide 30% of your max energy when starting a mission (367 energy at start). Perfect for opening up with Disometric Guard and have a lot of energy left to start slamming enemies with your abilities. I also include two Tau forged topaz shards for a total 30% additional ability damage to enemies affected by radiation status. Super helpful since al of his abilities (except his 3) guarantee radiation procs.
Along with the boost from the Umbral mods is his large health pool. Sitting at 1950 health and 2750 armor (90.2% damage reduction) you will see his shields get blasted away quickly at end game content but the damage he takes is consistently minimal. Survival will be the least of your concerns. I have [Rush] in his Exiles slot as he doesn't need [Primed Sure Footed] as long as you keep Disometric Guard up to prevent any status effects.
This build also mainly relies on high strength, hence the use of [Blind Rage] and [Umbral Intensify], which push his strength up to 278%. With this level of STR the damage output from his pillars, containment walls, and crucible blast all do magnificently while also providing 14 stacks of Disometric guard on initial cast. Including his Wrecking Wall augment you have way more than enough STR to fully strip armor/shields and empowef your Chyrinka Pillars for very good sustained damage in their areas. Duration and Range are not too important as the only duration based ability is the Chyrinka Pillars and they already have a pretty solid duration for them, plus if you clap up 5 or more enemies with Containment Wall his [Wrecking Wall] augment will refresh the timers on the Chyrinka Pillars which is a 50 second duration at just 145% from [Primed Continuity]. The Chyrinka Pillars don't have the longest range with this build, but 11m at 145% range will more than suffice with this play style and you'll likely have the energy to spam the ability to place the pillars however you like. But just that little touch of range with [Stretch] keeps his Containment Wall incredibly long with 29m of [Reach]! And Crucible Blast has 58m of range here, so as I said, you shouldn't need anything more than just [Stretch]. If you are looking to maybe substitute one mod out here for something else, I'd consider the Primed [Constitution] as the Pillars can be kept up rather easily with his augment refreshing their timers.
As far as playstyle, go out there and make the world glow under a blacklight! Your large energy pool means you can pretty much spam cast his abilities once you get a decent amount of energy which should take no time at all. You can make quick work of hordes of enemies by casting his Containment Wall to line them up and then unleash his Crucible Core to utterly devastate the now defenseless enemies in his path. This is a big part of how he is able to do so well in Steel Path and other high level content. His Chyrinka Pillar are great for holding points in many game situations (Defense, Mobile Defense, Sabotage, Interception) by providing fantastic crowd control with the radiation procs as well as dealing good consistent damage from the damage pulses. It will do even better if you use Containment Wall or Crucible Blast to empower them for additional damage and pulse speed. So mainly, keep Disometric Guard up to prevent any status effects, use your Continment Walls to group up enemies and strip defenses, Crucible Blast to delete big groups of enemies, and Chyrinka Pillars for that extra level of crowd control or another layer of damage on top of everything else.
I find [Qorvex] pairs well with a companion like [Diriga] who can spam lots of status effects (especially if you get him going with radiation effects as it will prime them for the extra damage from your topaz shards without having to use another ability first), which makes weapons with [Condition Overload] or the equivalent for primaries and secondaries. I personally use a Tenet Arca Plasma with a 60% Magnetic bonus that is build for Magnetic, Radiation, and Corrosive so everyone can catch this damage >:D Along with [Galvanized Aptitude] the damage output along with all of [Qorvex]'s radiation spamming will keep damage all around very high. Don't forget that his passive grants ALL primary and secondary weapons 3m of punch through. This is perfect for using with Containment Wall to line enemies up in a straight line, strip all their defenses, and leave them open and vulnerable to a great high damage weapon with a ton of punch through. Like shooting fish in a really long barrel XD
I hope this build works well for anyone who tries it! Any questions, comments, or constructive criticisms appreciated! Good luck, Tennos!
