Be Very Afraid: Biblically-Accurate Attack Helicopter (Glory primary fire spam)

I wouldn't go for a hybrid [Glory] build. Certain important mods only work with primary fire. I feel that primary fire is more fun and is objectively better against single targets, but alternate fire is far better at dealing damage to groups. Choose one to focus on and use the other just for a bit of extra damage.

Archon Shards

  • 2x Tauforged Amber: +75% Casting Speed
  • 1x Tauforged Amber: +45% Starting Energy
  • 1x Tauforged Violet: +30% Equilibrium
  • 1x Tauforged Crimson: +15% Ability Strength

Gear

  • Primary: Burston Prime Incarnon (Corrosive/Heat, Primary Deadhead)

Gear Explanations

  • Burston Prime is an exceptionally powerful mob killer, Acolyte killer, and, well, ANYTHING killer.
  • Kuva Nukor is a great primer that works in tandem with or in place of Ophanim Eyes.
  • Kuva Nukor's Augur Seeker kickstarts the shield regeneration process during Jade's shield gate.
  • Furax Wraith boosts Glory's mediocre fire rate.
  • Glory has the classic Viral/Heat combination, which handles just about everything. Archon Vitality stacks extra Heat procs on top of that.
  • Jade's Panzer provides additional Viral priming.
  • Seismic Bond adds up to 30% efficiency while Jade is flying.
  • [Tenacious Bond] and [Reinforced Bond] add extra CD and fire rate, respectively.

Stats

Math wasn't my best subject, so it's quite possible that some of the numbers below are off. They should be close, though.

  • Power of the Seven adds up to 86% extra ability strength with Growing Power at max Molt Augmented stacks.
  • 258% strength (base with 1 Crimson shard) + 60% (Molt Augmented) + 86% (Power of the Seven at max Molt Augmented stacks + Growing Power) = 404% strength.
  • Ophanim Eyes strips ~40% of defenses per second and slows enemies by 60% per second. This isn't amazing, but it gets the job done, especially when backed up by Heat procs.
  • Spirit of Resilience can't be active while Power of the Seven is active, so it maxes out at 343% strength. 343% strength restores an extra 34.3% shields per second and reduces recharge delay by the same percentage. In practice, especially with Augur Seeker, it feels like shields are restored and overshields are generated way faster than this.
  • Deathbringer can't be active while Power of the Seven is active, so it maxes out at 343% strength. This gives an extra 343% additive base damage to her weapons and [Glory].

As far as I understand it, you can cast Power of the Seven and then Ophanim Eyes, Roar, and [Glory] on High to lock in their full 404% strength before cycling to Deathbringer for the added base damage or Spirit of Resilience for shield gating. As long as [Jade] activates Ophanim Eyes, Roar, and [Glory] on High while Power of the Seven is active, she can then freely switch between her other 2 Symphony of Mercy abilities without affecting her defense stripping, faction damage, and exalted damage.

Strategy

[Jade] can stay in her 4 practically indefinitely with this build.

  1. Start the mission with Spirit of Resilience and keep it queued up. It's a good ability to have going when you don't need or want to fly for whatever reason.
  2. When you run into enemies, cast her 4, cycle her 2 to Power of the Seven, and then cast Power of the Seven, Ophanim Eyes, and Roar in that order.
  3. Once your buffs are up and you have plenty of shields/Overguard, feel free to switch to Deathbringer for some extra damage.
  4. When you hit your shield gate, use [Rolling Guard] and cast an ability, which will kickstart the shield regeneration process thanks to [Kuva Nukor]'s [Augur Seeker].
  5. Spam [Glory]. Reset other abilities as needed. Detonate Judgments as they pop up.
  6. If possible, charge up [Burston Prime] at the beginning of the mission. Its Incarnon form is an excellent weapon to fall back on and to crush Acolytes with.

Tips

  • Cycling between Symphony of Mercy options while it's active will switch to the chosen mode without needing to recast it.
  • Recasting Symphony of Mercy is still useful when she hits her shield gate thanks to Brief Respite. It allows her to regenerate shields during her shield gate.
  • If possible, always cycle to Power of the Seven before casting her other abilities.
  • Play her at range and try to stay in relatively large, open areas with a bit of decent cover. Keep her flying above everything and don't stop moving.

Gatling Gun (Primary Fire Spam)

  • Light's Judgment slows down DPS/KPM and forces her to stay in one small area. Roar, Nourish, or Eclipse are probably her best options.
  • Stay mobile, but try to stay within 20m of enemies. Ophanim Eyes strips defenses within that range.
  • Primary fire has a 10% chance to inflict Judgments. Killing enemies afflicted with Judgments extends Symphony of Mercy's duration by a couple of seconds.
  • Spam alt fire while using primary fire unless you're running low on energy.

Bombing Run (Alt Fire Spam)

  • Arcane Velocity should be replaced with Arcane Energize.
  • Light's Judgment is a necessity. She probably doesn't want to replace any of her abilities, but she can go negative with duration if she swaps Ophanim Eyes for an instant defense stripper.
  • Use a Panzer for Viral priming.
  • Add MUCH more range.
  • Throw Light's Judgment into a group of enemies and do her alt fire a couple of times to kill them all. Move onto the next set of enemies and do the same.
  • Keep spamming primary attacks for a bit of extra DPS.
  • Duration matters less for this build.
  • If you can do so without killing efficiency, add even more strength.

Different [Glory] Builds

Galvanized Shot has no effect on either fire mode. Do not use it. All hits are treated as AOE.

Primary Fire

  • [Glory]'s primary fire is affected by base damage, elemental, multishot, critical, status chance, fire rate, and faction damage mods.
  • I currently use [Primed Target Cracker], [Hornet Strike], [Lethal Torrent], Galvanized Diffusion, Pistol Elementalist, Frostbite, Pistol Pestilence, Primed Heated Charge, and Lethal Momentum with Secondary Enervate.
  • I'd like to add more fire rate, but space is tight.
  • The current setup gives me a 30.3% chance per individual hit to proc Heat. With base multishot of 2.7 from [Lethal Torrent] and [Galvanized Diffusion], this can easily throw out an average of 1+ Heat procs per shot. That's not a lot, but [Archon Vitality] adds another for each one, which makes this deceptively good at piling on Heat and taking full advantage of Pistol Elementalist's status damage buff.

Alt Fire

  • [Glory]'s alternate fire is only affected by elemental, critical, status chance, and faction damage mods. Do NOT use base damage, multishot, or fire rate mods.
  • I don't have an updated build since I never use the alt fire spam strategy. Of course, I still use alt fire. I just don't focus on it.
  • The last build I used was [Primed Fulmination], [Pistol Pestilence], [Jolt], Magnetic Might, Primed Target Cracker, Primed Pistol Gambit, Primed Convulsion, Primed Heated Charge, and Lethal Momentum with Cascadia Flare.
  • Alt fire benefits from extra range more than primary fire. Primed Fulmination is a solid choice if you have room.

Miscellaneous

  • Seismic Bond is an important companion mod. I recommend using a Hound or Panzer with it equipped.
  • Cascadia Flare is a solid option for improving DPS. Secondary Fortifier gives her more survivability.
  • Jade is probably the best pick for Archwing missions since aura mods still work while in Archwing mode.
  • Symphony of Mercy can easily be refreshed and kept active with high enemy density, but Ophanim Eyes and Roar can't. A little extra duration helps keep those running. It also slightly cuts Glory on High's ongoing energy drain.
  • Extra range matters more for the alt fire spam build, but it also increases the AOE of Glory's primary fire and the cone size of Ophanim Eyes.
  • [Adaptation] can be used to make her even tankier. Boreal's Hatred can also add a small boost in DR while further increasing efficiency.
  • A shield recharge mod can be helpful since her primary survivability strategy is shield gating. A single Augur mod or [Brief Respite] + Symphony of Mercy usually fully recharges her shields fast enough, though. The higher her strength, the faster she recharges her shields!
