Overshadowing the likes of [Diriga] and the [Panzer Vulpaphyla], the Hound is an efficient and powerful primer.
ACQUISITION
To obtain a hound, you must complete the "The [War] Within" and "Call Of The Tempestarii" quests. Then you must obtain a Sister of Parvos, upon vanquishing the Sister, you will inherit her hound companion assembled from random components which will appear in your foundry, much like Kuva and Tenet weapons. The Sister is also guaranteed to drop one random Hound component blueprint, these blueprints can be traded with other players and can be assembled with Legs on Fortuna.
BUILD EXPLINATION
Manifold Bond and Synergized Prospectus are the backbone of this priming build. Manifold bond applies the modded damage types on the hound's weapon to its abilities, Synegized Prospectus is the main tool for the priming as it shoots an electric projectile that ricochets multiple times, being able to apply status to a large room. Repo audit aids in priming the enemies with an additional magnetic status effect as well as crowd controlling them by disarming enemies in a 30m radius.
Vicious Bond reduces enemy armor with melee attacks, upon death, the enemy affected with the armor strip will spread the effect to nearby enemies. Duplex bond is used for 2 things, survivability and energy economy. Duplex Bond clones your companion every time you spend energy, these clones are invincible and last for 30 seconds, every time they get a kill the enemy has a chance to drop an additional energy orb.
Survivability is carried by Link Redirection and Link Vitality, allowing your hound to be both a shield and a health tank.
FLEX SLOTS
Not all the mods shown in this build are necessary or specific to the build and could be swapped out for other mods. The "flex slots" in this build are animal instinct, vacuum, and assault mode. Feel free to swap these mods out with whichever mods fit your needs/specifics for a better build.
I hope this guide was informative and helped you out! I would like to preface that this build isn't specific to the Dorma Hound and can be applied to the other Hound models.
