Corpus ingenuity leveraging Tau-tech to create a high-capacity bi-modal sniper weapon of terrifying capability. Zoom in to reduce recoil and add punch through. Zoom again to fire a bursting viral round, but with a lower rate of fire. Komorex features built-in ammo conversion.

Slash-Rex Steel Path Crit+Slash Galvanized Setup 2024

*Quick Note-> This can be a summary of various builds in the overframe community regarding komorex as i found lots of similarities in the choice of mods being used in my build and in the community ones.

SLASH-REX

This weapon has a very good scale with slash as it has both high status chance (35%) and with Galvanized Aptitude + Hammer Shot we reach 91% Status Chance while also having a 43.7%/38.2%/9.1% priority to slash.

Its critical chance is low but with critical delay we have a rather decent amount of 48% and 40% while using point strike.
With Vital Sense and Hammer shot we have a 5.9x CD multiplier.

Having a viral explosion using the max zoom saves us 2 elemental spots to fully utilize and use the DOT damage in our preference.In that case Corrosive or any armor strip wont be that necessary as we can bypass the armor and go straight for the health of the target.

*Speculations are that [Galvanized Shot] doesnt work even in the single target bullet (i dont know if that's fixed and cant really see a further damage instance except for the extra status chance which can benefit the whole weapon either way)
so we can use :
vigilante armaments for +60% multishot or a mod of your choice to further increase the damage output.

FACTION PREFERENCES

Bane mods should be used for the DOT damage but if you dont like them you can use Serration for raw damage. (i suggest using them since we aim for the DOT slash damage and not the overall damage per shot)

Malignant Force can be inserted in the spot where hammer shot / Galvanized shot is for a more Corpus like toxin build for a little less SC and CD. However more testing needs to be done for the corpus faction although i doubt you would be struggling against them.

Using radiated reload for that extra reload speed and radiation we still can replace hammer shot or even galvanized shot.

What you can do to help the damage even more is using:

Ash Prime for his passive giving 25% slash bonus (which is multiplicative with Bane Mods) and free 50% slash duration -> damage difference is shown in video below.
Arcane Avenger for the +45% Base CritChance to help the overall Crit procs of the weapon while boosting the hunter Munitions slash procs and damage
Energize Munitions Helmnith for that juicy ammo efficiency.
Primed fast hands Mod which can be used to quality of life yourself as its reload time isnt that fast but i wouldnt suggest doing so and maybe Arcane Momentum could be a more worth it option.

You can also swap vile accelaration for Primed Shred if you own it and use Point strike instead of critical delay to minimize the reduced firerate of primed shred (55% to vile's 90%)
Primary Arcane Options:

Primary Merciless is the way to go as it helps with the damage you will need while also using a bane card to maximize your Overall damage.
Rank 5 also gives +30% Reload speed

Primary Deadhead if you wish to go for a rather corrosive like build aproach but it wont benefit you in this instance as we wont be able to stack deadhead with the slash procs going on.
