Evolution II has situational perks with gimmicks that depend on your playstyle.
⚠️Perk 1: Marksman's Hand: -30% Recoil - The weapon really doesn't have a recoil problem unless you spam shots.
✔️Perk 2: Rapid Wrath: +25% Fire Rate - Not only increases your DPS but also makes the beam charge feel much better.
⚠️Perk 3: Swift Deliverance: +30% Projectile Speed - Decent with helping you to get headshots on the base form but sorta useless on the Incarnon.
Evolution III has a few quality of life bonuses that are up to preferences.
⚠️Perk 1: Extended Volley: +10 Magazine Capacity - Decent on the base form but useless on the Incarnon form.
✔️Perk 2: Rapid Reinforcement: +30% Reload Speed -The only perk with conceptual benefits for both forms.
⚠️Perk 3: Hunter's Rearmament: On kill: 10% chance to replenish 10 Ammo - Decent on the base form but useless on the Incarnon form.
Evolution IV has better options depending on the elements chosen and the build.
✔️Perk 1: Lethal Lance: On Kill: +2.5 Punch Through for 20s - Has an actual benefit for both modes and synergizes with one of the Evo 5 perks.
⚠️Perk 2: Incarnon Efficiency: Headshots Build +50% more Incarnon Transmutation charge. - Only should be used if struggling to activate the Incarnon form.
❌Perk 3: Elemental Excess: +20% Status Chance, -10% Critical Chance - Fairly unpractical perk that can actually hurt some builds.
Evolution V has strong perks but they are a bit buggy.
⚠️Perk 1: Sequential Skullbuster: On Consecutive Headshots: +30% Headshot Damage. Stacks up to 4x - Decent if mainly focusing on the base form.
⚠️Perk 2: Impaler's Ferocity: On Punch Through Hit: +10% Damage for 10s. Stacks up to 10x - Synergizes with Lethal Lance but provides middling damage.
✔️Perk 3: Devastation Cascade: Hitting enemies in Incarnon Form increases the Critical Chance and Critical Damage of the fully charged blast by +5%. Stacks up to 50. - The strongest perk choice but has the downside of not benefiting the base form.
