INVOCATION

Invocation slot is flexible for either a DPS option (magnetic might/primed expel/[Accelerated Isotope]) or a Utility option e.g. [Xata Invocation] (energy [Regen]), [Netra Invocation] (for efficiency), [Ris Invocation] (for duration) or [Vome Invocation] (for strength).

Canticle is also totally flexible, [Lohk Canticle] for more [Noctua] dps, [Khra Canticle] for more energy.

ELEMENT

Viral mods are optional since encumber has a chance of proccing viral and you can also run arcane truculuence on [Dante] for 10 viral forced procs in AOE while you gain Overguard.

Can swap between pure Electric or pure Heat due to primed elec and heat mods.

• Electric: best for Murmur, synergizes with Archon Stretch for passive energy regen while Noctua is off
• Heat: best for armored enemies, synergizes with Arcane Hotshot and Archon Vitality

HORNET STRIKE/CASCADIA FLARE OR [Galvanized Shot]?

[Noctua] has a strange damage formula where [Galvanized Shot] scales a separate 200 base damage that is NOT affected by strength:

250 x strength% x (1+damage%) + 200 x (1+[Galvanized Shot]%)

What this means effectively is that if you run [Galvanized Shot] with Secondary Encumber, the effect of strength becomes less significant on [Noctua] damage (which means arcane impetus doesn't provide much boost to noctua), and conversely if you run high strength and damage sources like Arcane Precision/Cascadia Flare, the effect of [Galvanized Shot] becomes less significant on [Noctua] damage (although note you still need to build strength for Pageflight which has a huge effect on status DPS). Ultimately the max DPS difference between the two options ([Galvanized Shot] + Encumber vs [Pistol Elementalist] + Flare) is very minimal with Elementalist + Flare coming out only 2% better (assuming 13 statuses). However since Secondary Encumber takes a long time to stack to 13 statuses, the immediate burst DPS of elementalist + flare is significantly higher.

TLDR:

• If you want to boost all of Dante's abilities while still having high enough Noctua DPS, use Galvanized Shot + Secondary Encumber + Arcane Impetus

ARCANE

Secondary Encumber can proc up to 13 statuses which gives up to 1560% damage boost from [Galvanized Shot] and also procs Arcane Impetus for maximum of 78% Strength and 39% efficiency boost.

Note, wordwarden ignores fire rate and multishot but benefits from Secondary Encumber.
