This build takes advantage of the strong built in Slash Damage of this weapon, enhances it (and Status Chances) with Carnis Mandible, and uses the North Wind & Virulent Scourge combination to add an equal amount of Viral to the Mix.

The result is a weapon that reliably generates a ton of Slash Procs and is boosted via Tennokai via Master's Edge, Melee Animosity, and the natural Slash Procs generated via Final Harbinger. This generates far greater damage than one might expect from the above numbers, and the Heavy Spin attack does not disappoint!

The main weakness in this build is the lack of intrinsic Combo Duration. This can be mitigated via the Primary Dexterity & Secondary Dexterity Arcanes, and the Naramon Focus School. Even without these worthy additions the weapon generates Crits on every attack from zero on the combo counter, and is highly reliable.
