Is it time for a tigris prime prime?
__
Why do we use?
UPDATE -- Elements have been swapped from Corro / Cold >> Viral / Electric. After further testing, Corro / Cold simply isnt as useful because Tigris can't crit, so while we will slightly lose raw damage, we get electric status which boosts our overall DPS.
Primary Crux -- Ammo efficiency makes [Tigris] a lot more spammable and is helpful to build into status when crit isn't an option.
|
After testing Crux efficiency + Viral Electric, we improve our DPS by 30~40% over the raw damage + reload speed build we used previously, the [Tigris] is better than ever!
|
Crux is very setup specific, at base capacity Crux creates an awkward 5 rounds, so i recommend using an R4 Crux with given setup to prevent this.
||
R5 Crux can safely be used if PAS to bring Tigris capacity to 4 (10 shots after Crux).
Magnetic Strafe / Barrage -- Fire rate matters because of Crux efficiency; there is a short delay before another burst can trigger on duplex's. Since fire rate matters less however, consider 'Magnetic Strafe' over default Barrage.
Seeking Force -- Cuz why hit 1 enemy when you could hit 3?
G Savvy -- Necessary base damage, minor status chance (companion / priming suggested)
Cleanse -- Default faction bonus that applies second time to status dots
- Swappable for Elementalist / PAS / Shell Shock / PPB / etc.
- IF 'Elementalist' to increase capacity 2 > 3, still use R4 Crux to prevent odd number.

Why dont we use?
Unfortunately, duplex triggers for some reason are unqualified to use Semi-Cannonade mods, if this ever changes, Seeking Fury / Barrage can optionally be replaced. Another unfortunate bane to unlucky [Tigris]…
