The [Sly Vulpaphyla] is a good alternative for the [Panzer Vulpaphyla], giving your Warframe more survivability by adding an "Evasion buff" through its [Survival Instinct] and [Sly Devolution] mods.

[Fetch] and [Primed Animal Instinct] are a given.

[Martyr Symbiosis] adds survivability to your Warframe. Your kitty downs itself to heal you when you fall below 10% health. Alternatively, if you feel like you don't need this, you can add other mods to buff companion damage like [Maul] or [Tek Enhance] to increase Devolution ability duration.

Tandem mods are the best addition to the companion arsenal and we have lots of options here:
Tenacious Bond and Bite are the perfect combo for giving your companion longer up-time and giving yourself a Final Citical Damage Multiplier of 1.2.
[Reinforced Bond] and [Calculated Redirection] are a good combo to give yourself a free 10% increased fire rate and your companion some overshields.
For the last slot I put in [Tandem Bond] to boost my melee combo counter as well, adding to the final buffs. This slot is also variable, you can put in [Tek Enhance] or any other Tandem mod to your liking.
