This is a build made for the purpose of being able to heal their owner (yourself). This is made possible by using the two mods: [Reflect] and [Hunter Recovery]. Since [Reflect] scales off of enemy damage, and deals that damage back after being amplified, [Hunter Recovery] (Companion Life Steal Mod) will make it so that it heals you every time the Kavat activates [Reflect]. This is obviously useful since at very high enemy levels, enemies will be dealing tons of damage to everything, meaning the Kavat will be healing you that much more.

The rest of the build focuses on tankiness (Link Health, Link Armor, (Primed) Pack Leader, Medi-Pet Kit, Tek Assault, and Reflect), as well as support/utility ([Cat's Eye], [Fetch], and [Tek Enhance])

Also, if you want to replace a mod for [Animal Instinct], you should probably do it with [Tek Enhance] (obviously needing to forma one more time for that).
