Evolutions

E2- Swordsmans Flourish

E3- Resolute Force

  • (Orokin Reach / Swift Break -- range / wind up is only important on heavy which we already solve with kai)

E4- Subtle Force (we will be increasing both CC and SC by over 400% so increasing both at base is huge!)


Why do we use?

[Reaping Spiral] is best stance for Scythes for combos and forced slash heavy.

EMPTY SLOT uses [Burning Hate]. This mod is multiplicative to Elementalist for heat DoT.

UNRANKED Sac Steel to be replaced with [Galvanized Steel]

UNRANKED [Melee Elementalist] to be replaced with [Galvanized Elementalist]

[Molten Impact]? This adds heat as an elemental bonus, giving hugely more heat weight and damage for to scale multiplicatively with both Burning Hate and Elementalist.

  • By default, heat only exists on explosion, so modding it will create heat as a damage type on projectile direct hits as well as direct swing and heavy. This allows us to inflict heat at over twice the rate of base which is the whole point of augment
  • Slash is forced on heavy due to stances, which is completely separate and unaffected by internal status, this means by modding heat we can inflict both slash and heat in the same heavy to be spread by Afflictions.

[Condition Overload] of course does NOT effect radial but will apply to everything else. CO is still important for direct light and heavy damage and we have modded heat + status damage to buff aoe.

Berserker is preference attack speed mod. Scythes like [Hate] are infamously slow and Berserker gives most benefit.

[Blood Rush] + [Weeping Wounds] = Default combo mods.

Afflictions to spread heat and slash on heavy

[Opportunity's Reach] is preference Kai mod. This mod specifically gives longer grace period to time our heavy when if we use our light projectile at range; however, OR also gives us +range on our heavy, which is the final stat we've been missing. We don't have room in our current setup to slot PReach, which is an important stat / only important for heavy swings, so Opp Reach is a perfect fit for this build.
