Why do we use?
Primary Crux. Just aim semi head level into a crowd and you will easily keep this stacked.

So why Crux? [Acceltra] is a workhorse designed for general content, not level cap endurance running. This build is designed to address problematic ammo issues in high density missions such as low-mid steel path survival without forcing the player into energized munitions

With Primary Crux, we sacrifice upfront dps for higher total damage per magazine, by just letting us shoot 2.5x more over other options.
60% Efficiency means we get 120 shots out of our 48 round [Mag], or more than our entire reserves per magazine. This is huge not just for economy's sake but also cuz we no longer have to hesitate when we equip Vile Accel and tons of external fire rate and we can spam rockets to our hearts content.
300 Status chance gives us a final 83% status chance, so we finally get to drop that worthless Hunter Munitions for some elements that can actually do decent dps.

PURE HEAT -- 150 Elemental Heat with dual mods for infinitely refreshable dots and partial stripping. Heat is also useful for potential inheriting from a heat primer source against tougher targets
Bane -- Default faction bonus for dipping dots.
- Faction mods are technical and not usable everywhere, flexible for Elementalist / Hammer Shot
Vile Acceleration? -- Rockets! Rockets! Rockets! Rockets!
- Fire rate will make Acceltra's 'push away' effect more intense, you do so knowing this
Amalgam Serration -- for necessary base damage and bonus sprint speed for all your Goss needs.

Why don't we use?
Viral? -- Raw viral is optional (particularly if not using anti faction) but it will drown heat which is detrimental on a crux setup. Pure heat using this setup will surpass modded viral with only 0.8 external viral stacks, practically always...
Why no [Firestorm]? — The [Acceltra] has a very annoying ‘push away’ effect on its explosion, and mods like [Primed Firestorm] increase the radius of this dumbass mechanic which is why we don't use it. So, while [Firestorm] may increase our aoe to 6.8 meters, you are also pushing targets 6.8 meters away defeating the point.
What about galv scope/deadhead or [Bladed Rounds]? Of course it will result in more damage, but we simply cant afford to rely on conditional effects, especially ones that require you to land perfect shots with bullets that travel slower than [Gauss] can run.
