sadly tek mods + fetch + instinct + charm + mischief take up 6 mods by themselves and are basically all non-negotiable

so the last 4 are link fiber/vitality, hastened deflection, and medi-pet kit. this gives best survivability from what I've found, provided the non-link versions wouldn't work better, but the link versions can work waaaaay better. you could spec a bond mod over hastened or medi-pet to ease recovery speed, but I prefer to spec for minimizing pet deaths in the first place.
