Goal / Objective

• While we could improve this specific build by trading out some mod cards for Primed or Galvanized versions, those require more forma of different polarities than other major builds.
• This build is geared meant to be compatible with most other Status based builds and their forma polarity requirements, while giving you an alternate build focused to get you one of the best weapons to use in the Plague Star event.

Weapon Mechanics

• The Plague Star bosses have a cap on how much damage each projectile can do at one time. This prevents you from one shot nuking the boss with most weapons.
• However, shotgun or multi shot weapons, will shoot out dozens of projectiles each. Yes, each projectile will have a damage cap, but since there are dozens of them you will collectively do more damage and allow you to semi-bypass the max damage per projectile defenses of the boss.
• The Corrosive element will also aid in stripping armor.

Alternate Mods

• ++ Warning ++ While these alternatives may heavily improve the stats on this build, it will require additional forma, and polarity differences that may hinder you ability to use other Status based builds.
• Barrel Diffusion could be replaced with Galvanized Diffusion or Amalgam Barrel Diffusion.
• Slip Magazine could be replaced with Primed Slip Magazine.

Arcane

• It is not required for this build to be able to do good damage for the Plague Star event.
• Secondary Merciless is probably my main recommendation to assist in increasing overall damage of the weapon.

Exilus

• Not really needed for this build... but if you're interested.
• Trick Mag will give you more ammo in your magazine before you have to reload. This would be my first choice if I had to pick something.
• Lethal Momentum will give a bonus to Projectile Speed.
• Pistol Ammo Mutation or Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation will aid in picking up ammo.

• Grind Hard Squad has a video showing pretty much this same build. I admit, I had one similar, but using his build, I was able to get away with 1 less forma. I couldn't find a build on this site similar to it, so I made one up to help everyone.
