Build Theory-crafting and Reasoning
This build is directed for those that just picked up Revenant, however, a more end-game based version of this build is just using better versions of the same mods. You should be able to achieve after 2-3 formas into the frame.
I'll try to be straight to the point as possible.
Arcanes
Use Arcane Energize, even if its rank 0.
The other arcane literally doesn't matter use whatever you like, get Arcane Energize.
For real though, that's your only means of Energy regeneration while channeling your 4th ability and it's always a solid option on any warframe.
Aura Slot
Corrosive Projection armor strip good.
Exilus Slot
Not on this build. The day you put formas in though?
Bullet Jump mods (like Mobilize), Power Drift or Speed Drift are all good options.
[Primed Sure Footed] is useless on a CC immune warframe.
Power Duration, Efficiency, Range and Strength
[Revenant]'s entire kit benefits from Power Duration and Power Strength, while being very Energy hungry especially on your 4th ability, Danse Macabre. This is why even with +175% efficiency you may find yourself out of Energy.
Power Duration: Continuity and Narrow Minded
Power Efficiency: Rank 4 Streamline and Rank 4 Fleeting Expertise
- [Streamline] and Fleeting Expertise being Rank 4 nets you a pure 175% Power Efficiency with no excess at a lower capacity cost.
- Power Range: -
- Power Range is useless on [Revenant], so don't worry about it being low.
- Power Strength: Intensify and Transient Fortitude
Once you put in the formas:
Flow and Natural Talent
Flow, +150% Max Energy because you don't want any Energy that can be stored gone to waste.
If you'd like to be more cost-effective, you can use Flawed [Flow] for +72% Max Energy at 5 capacity cost.
In comparison, a rank 1 [Flow] of the same capacity cost nets you +50% Max Energy.
And [Natural Talent] because your cast times are long.
Abilities Takeaway
Rather than quoting the entire abilities wikia page, these are the main points that are important for those that just got [Revenant] should know.
Your passive is [Nova]'s passive bootleg.
If your shield gets depleted, enemies around you get knocked down. In other words, your passive is useless.
Your 1, Enthrall, lets you convert an enemy from against you to against other enemies.
Your 2, Mesmer Skin, is basically the same as Rhino's 2.
- You're immune to damage and CC, but instead of an external health you are protected from a number of attacks. And its recastable.
Your 3, Reave, is a dash that lifesteals shields and health.
There are 3 things to note here:
- If you use it on an Enthralled enemy, the lifesteal and overall damage is x5 stronger.
- You can cancel it by recasting so you can use it midair as a momentum boost (jump, press 3, press 3 again, aimglide and you're zoomin' through the air)
- You control the dash on the ground by moving your mouse, you can't control the dash in the air though.
And your 4, Dance Macabre, a channel ability that turns you into a ballerina that shoots lasers 360 degree. More braindead than Mesa's Peacemaker.
- You energy beams autonomously adapt their damage type to the attributes of the enemies. See what I'm saying about braindead?
- Hold your fire button to increase the status chance and damage for increased energy consumption.
- Also, you can use your 3 while channeling this ability if you need to reposition quickly, but not the other abilities.
