Pocket Mesa -Wisp Prime's new signature weapon (viral/electric Breach Surge Proccer)

This is a build with [Wisp] and Breach Surge in mind. Funnily enough, the ricochet feature of the incarnon form of this weapon makes it feel like you are playing [Mesa].

The selections for the build:

The Incarnon selections to take for this weapon are the same for any build: 5% multishot on ability cast (permanent), -50% recoil, and +20% base crit chance

This build is based upon viral electric, but more so with Breach Surge in mind. This Weapon makes base Steel Path enemies feel like level 14 'Gifts from the Lotus' mobs, and makes Breach Surge a bit redundant. However the fact remains that it seems to be the best weapon to proc Breach Surge, so here we are:

I like Electric procs better than Heat procs to proc Breach Surge as they will deal more hits by chaining to enemies. Further, the Incarnon form of this gun makes all hits ricochet once to the heads of enemies (keep in mind this is instant since it is a hit scan weapon). Combined with over 100% status chance, this multiplies the amount of electric procs in a group of enemies, greatly amplifying the damage from status, and the Breach Surge sparks created. That being said, [Convulsion] can be swapped for Primed Heated Charge.

For non Wisp, one of the crit chance mods can be dropped for fire rate

### Details of the build:

The -recoil from Secondary Deadhead, and the incarnon evolution makes this weapon have no recoil, and is essentially like a sniper rifle for getting headshots to fill the incarnon charge bar, and proccing the weapon's inherent 'Frenzy' buff. It also has no recoil in incarnon form making it a fairly precise machine gun.

Normally, high rate of fire weapons with high status chance can ramp up damage better than crit chance weapons, but here we have both with the incarnon 20% increase to base crit chance. This weapon is really OP because of this. It is able to kill enemies with sheer damage, but can also build up status damage. This is even crazier because status damage benefits from crit and crit damage, so this weapon can build up status damage better than weapons like the [Phantasma].

This weapon also benefits from an additional toxin damage buff on headshot. It is a nice buff to DPS, but it does water down the electric procs since it combines with the viral damage. This is why it is nice to get a riven with a greater amount of electric or heat damage)

You can stack a lot of multishot without going terribly into diminishing returns. You can get 200% multishot on a riven compared to about 100% crit damage instead. Also multishot makes it easy to recharge the incarnon form, and with a good riven can do it in 2-3 shots. The ammo pool for the incarnon form also lasts quite a while.

For a Riven, I recommend electric damage and multi shot with punch through or crit damage and replace [Convulsion] with it. Other mod combinations can work as well replacing some of the other mods. This weapon gets free ammo efficiency on headshot, and incarnon form is not affected by ammo bonuses, so reload speed, magazine size, -recoil, and ammo amount are meaningless, so roll for other stats. If you get a godly riven roll with heat instead of electricity, that is fine as well.

Secondary Encumber arcane:

Taking this arcane would swap out [Targeting Subsystem] for [Steady Hands]. This arcane is also a good choice, but doesn't seem to be as good as people might think. It has a chance of being a MASSIVE increase in damage from [Galvanized Shot], but a full load of every status is quite rare, even with high fire rate. I experimented with this (with a 200% multishot and 150% electric riven), and replacing the viral 60/60 mods with punch through and either [Lethal Torrent], or [Sharpened Bullets] yielded similar damage to the build above. This is because the average number of status accumulated is about 4 above what this build can already achieve. This is due to 120% reduced status chance, and the fact that this arcane will often add a status which has already been applied. Keep in mind that you won't necessarily have a viral status be applied to an enemy right away either.

In all, the headshot multiplier, 120% more elemental damage, and guaranteed viral seem to be better simply for the reliability. Also not to mention the elephant in the room is that Sentinels are now buffed and can passively prime enemies easily. I prefer an Energy Generating Dethcube with a Helstrum proccing Corrosive, cold/heat, and slash (from [Internal Bleeding]).
