Your [Glaive] should be dual wielded due to the several benefits it provides. Firstly the inputs for throwing and detonating your [Glaive] are shared while dual wield. This allows you to take the most advantage out of input buffering, smoothly allowing you to detonate your [Glaive] and start the next throw by simply holding down the 'E' button while your [Glaive] is in flight. This is of key importance due to the [Power Throw] mod being reliant on you chaining throws for its massive dmg buff.
Secondly, dual wielding allows for you to auto block. This is quite important as it allows you to negate the self stagger/knockdown from your AoE detonation to ensure your chain throwing goes uninterrupted even in close quarters. Finally, dual wielding will allow you instant use of your secondary to apply viral procs to boost your dmg even further.
Your glaive can be thrown while sprinting, mid air during/after a bullet jump and while sliding, make use of this to position yourself best while chaining throws for optimal dmg. While dealing with melee enemies up close in tight corridors do not panic, continue chaining throws as the forced AoE impact procs from Volatile Quick Return will push enemies back and give you breathing room in order to detonate your glaive. In the event you mistime a throw/detonate and lose your [Power Throw] stacks, do not worry as they can be quickly rebuilt due to how fast you can throw the [Glaive] over and over. Keep in mind that even a single stack of [Power Throw] will boost your dmg by +100% or 2x after just 2 chained throws.
If you are too slow to handle the [Glaive] in close quarters, you can optionally remove [Volatile Quick Return] in favor of [Gladiator Might]. This will allow the [Glaive] to bounce and punch through again, giving you much more time to detonate it. Keep in mind however, that the radius of your AoE detonation will drop from 9.6m to 4.8m.
Zenurik's Inner might is highly recommended for this build as the speed of your chained throws will not allow for [Corrupt Charge] to [Regen] your combo fast enough, leading to your dmg being halved on every other throw.
